Gothic 1 Remake update 1.000.007 is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Gothic 1 Remake update 1.0.2 patch notes, the latest update adds new graphics presets on PS5 and XSX, rewards lockpicking with experience, strengthens many high-level magic spells, and fixes multiple story progression issues. Apart from this, today’s Gothic 1 Remake patch 1.000.007 also rebalances creatures, bosses, and key human enemies throughout the campaign.

  • Fixed guard alarms not resetting, allowing unintended access to the Water Mages.
  • Fixed Fire Mages remaining hostile during the Innos ritual.
  • Fixed Kirgo missing from the Exchange Zone during the Guard Rank Up quest.
  • Fixed novices following the hero indefinitely during “A Point of No Return.”
  • Fixed an issue that could skip Lee’s monologue.

Chapter 4

  • Fixed gates opening incorrectly after the Fire Mages quest.
  • Jackal’s Free Mine conversation can no longer be skipped.
  • Fixed Orc ambient conversations repeating excessively.
  • Dungeons and forbidden areas in the Old Camp are now correctly marked as trespassable.

Chapter 5

  • Kalomist camp characters now update correctly after traveling to the Sleeper Temple.
  • Fixed Umakhal dialogue flow issues.

  • Successful lockpicking now grants a small amount of experience.
  • Reduced two-handed axe stun damage to prevent stunlock situations.

  • Increased Ball Lightning damage.
  • Increased Fireball damage.
  • Increased Rain of Fire damage.
  • Increased Chain Lightning damage in higher magic circles.
  • Increased Heal effectiveness in higher magic circles.
  • Adjusted mana costs for high-level circle spells.
  • Increased Iceblock damage in higher magic circles.
  • Increased Fist of Wind damage in higher magic circles.

Creature Balance

  • Juvenile Troll: increased damage.
  • Swampshark: increased damage and armor.
  • Shadowbeast: increased damage.
  • Snapper: increased damage and armor.
  • Skeleton: increased damage.
  • Skeleton Warrior: increased damage.
  • Orcdog: increased damage and health.
  • Adjusted Goblin rock damage modifiers.

Chapter 2 Balance

  • Mother Molerat: increased health.
  • Minecrawler Queen: increased health.

Chapter 3 Balance

  • Harpy: increased damage.
  • Biter: increased damage, armor, and health.
  • Bloodhound: increased damage, armor, and health.

  • Razor: increased damage, armor, and health.
  • Fire Lizard Prime: increased damage.
  • Minecrawler Warrior: increased damage and armor.

  • Demon Lord: increased damage.
  • Fire Demon: increased damage.
  • Temple Minecrawler: increased damage and armor.

  • Mad Cor Kalom: increased health and armor.
