Goose Goose Duck update 4.08 is rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Goose Goose Duck patch notes, the latest update expands gameplay variety with six new roles, introduces new strategic interactions through the Carrier and Parasite link, and improves match customization in Classic mode. It also resolves several critical gameplay bugs, including invincibility and meeting lock issues.

New Roles

- Carrier can implant the Parasite into a target; both share the same life status
- Parasite can eliminate a host and assume their appearance but cannot vote
- Lucid Dreamer can explore the map and complete limited tasks during meetings
Role Adjustments
- Mummy can now pass through forbidden passageways that were previously blocked
Lobby Setting Changes – Classic Mode
- Multiple exclusion-based roles can now be enabled in the same lobby configuration
- Roles still remain mutually exclusive and are not guaranteed to appear in each match
Cosmetic System Updates
- Removed Event and Limited Time cosmetic categories
- All cosmetics reassigned into standard rarity tiers
- Added origin tags to show how limited or event cosmetics were obtained
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Resolved issue where Raven could remain stuck in meetings after being voted out during dream state
- Fixed exploit that allowed players to become invincible after team-balance revival
- Corrected problem causing TLC-exclusive roles to appear in Classic mode
- Prevented Esper from eliminating Raven during a Raven Hunt
- Player report window can now be closed using the Escape key
- Additional minor fixes and performance adjustments implemented
Previously, a major Goose Goose Duck update added a brand new jungle temple map with new game mechanics, new death stingers, new sabotages and new tasks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing bugs with the game. Today’s Goose Goose Duck patch 4.08 will fix a few of these issues.
