Mega Cat Studios has released a new God of War Sons of Sparta update 1.008.001 (1.0.0.8-1) on PS5. According to the official God of War Sons of Sparta 1.008.001 patch notes, the update fixes an issue where, under very specific conditions, an enemy can translate across screens and defeat the hero character during a cinematic in Mount Taygetos, preventing the player from acquiring a key piece of equipment. Apart from this, God of War Sons of Sparta version 1.008.000 also general stability fixes.
