God of War Ragnarok update 6.001 (version 6.001.000) details released for PS5 and PC players. According to God of War Ragnarok 6.01 patch notes, the latest update brings stability and performance improvements on PS5 Pro. Apart from this, God of War Ragnarok version 6.001 also enhances file validation, fixes input and visual issues, and improves ultrawide support.
Previously, a GOW Ragnarok update 6.000 added new PS5 Pro options, including Favor Quality at 60 FPS and a new upscaler for improved graphics. Unfortunetly, since the GOW Raganrok day one patch, players are facing error codes and stuttering issues with the game. GOW Ragnarok Update 6.001 patch will fix a few issues in the game.

General Improvements
- Corrupted File Detection: Added more robust detection for corrupted files during content loading. Users are now warned to validate files if issues are detected.
UI and Input Fixes
- Windowed Mode: Resolved an issue where window location wasn’t saved after relaunching in windowed mode.
- SteamInput Compatibility:
- Fixed interact/evade swapping not functioning correctly.
- Addressed incorrect on-screen prompts for Switch controllers using SteamInput.
- Resolved Quick Turn button issues when using SteamInput.
- Fixed bindings involving mouse scroll being reset after a game restart.
Gameplay Fixes
- Camera Drift: Fixed an issue causing the camera to drift when using the mouse and alt-tabbing.
Visual Enhancements
- Volumetric Fog: Fixed blocky appearance of volumetric fog when playing in ultrawide resolutions (21:9 or 32:9 aspect ratios).
- Miscellaneous Visual Fixes: Addressed various visual issues, including the water at the bottom of Alfheim well not displaying correctly.
Performance Optimizations
- Intel ARC GPUs: Improved performance on Intel ARC GPUs, with minor performance gains for NVIDIA and AMD GPUs.
