God of War Ragnarok update 5.001 is available to download on PS5 (version 5.001.000). According to the official God of War Ragnarok 5.001 patch notes, the latest update adds free God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla DLC. Apart from this, God of War Ragnarok version 5.001.000 also includes various bug fixes and changes.
Previously, a major GOW Ragnarok update 4.000 added a new Game+ mode and various tweaks. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing various issues. GOW Ragnarok version 5.001 will fix a few issues in the game.

- Fixed an issue that caused the banner of the Draupnir Spear to no longer look upgraded when used in transmog.
- GoWR update 5.001 fixed an issue that caused the Flawless Berserker waist armor to not have a glowing effect.

- [Arabic Only]Fixed an alignment issue that caused an icon to overlap with the controller diagram.
Known Issue
- If a user installs God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla before installing God of War Ragnarök, then tries to launch the DLC before the base game has finished downloading they will get an infinite loading screen.
- WORKAROUND:Finish downloading God of War Ragnarök before attempting to access the DLC.
