Ghost of Yotei Version 1.010.000 Patch Notes on October 17, 2025

Ghost of Yotei version 1.010.000 is available to download on PS5 and PS5 Pro. According to the official Ghost of Yotei 1.010 patch notes, the latest update resolves various game crashing issues. Apart from this, today’s Ghost of Yotei update 1.010 (version 1.010.000) also includes stability and gameplay performance improvements.

Wolf Blade Guard Bug: Weapon does not change guard on different sword kits.
Oxygen Meter Glitch: Oxygen bar appears and depletes even when Atsu enters shallow water.
Dens Locked: Dens remain inaccessible at 50 Coins, preventing interaction.
Shrine Completion Issue: Shrines incorrectly display as incomplete after being cleared.
Epic Box Spawn Bug: The final Epic Box fails to spawn in certain playthroughs.

Quests & Missions

“Kusarigama’s Regret” Controller Bug: Mission causes controller to stop functioning properly.
“The Last Brother” Bounty Bug: Player cannot talk to the wounded NPC or spawn bounty hunters, blocking progression and interaction with graves.
Onyro Armor Upgrade Lockout: After skipping a cutscene post-Oni fight, players get stuck at the Ishikari Forge with a frozen screen and repeated armor upgrade prompt.

Respawn & Travel Issues

Endless Respawn Loop: After dying and falling into a spike pit with a horse, players continuously respawn inside the hole, with no fix available.
Atsu Death Travel Bug: Upon Atsu’s death and revival from camp, players are forcibly sent back to the Red Crane Inn.

Performance & Stability

Crashes: Persistent crashing issues continue without clear cause or fix.
Yotei Grassland Glitch: Controller issues occur when traversing the Yotei Grassland area.

Performance and Stability

Fixed a rare crash that could happen during the Gambler’s Den mission when bears would appear and start attacking the group of Ronin and allies.

Gameplay

Fixed a bug where the horse would continue running past Atsu after being called.
Fixed a bug in “A Memory of Impressions” that could cause the current save file to become blocked if the player reloads a certain checkpoint after having timeswapped between the past and present.
Removed a second Zen-hajiki table that would appear and prevent coins from being visible after acquiring the Dragonfly Armor.
Fixed a bug during the Gambler’s Den mission where Atsu could die when inspecting the jar, causing the mission to be blocked.
Fixed a bug in “The Kitsune’s Fate” where Atsu could become stuck in the hallucination state, causing Oyuki to become stuck in place, blocking the mission and preventing the game menus from being accessed.
Fixed a bug in “Spirits of Teshio Ridge” where the player could become stuck looking at the cave instead of the Red Crane Inn during the spyglass survey.
Fixed a bug in “Master of the Shamisen” that could cause the mission to become blocked if Ghost of Yotei was closed and reopened during the final cutscene of the mission.
Fixed a bug in “A Memory of Spring” that would cause the memory to automatically trigger when traveling to the location, creating a “Return to Tale” infinite loop.

Bear cub bug where the cub fails to follow even after playing the song.
A rare freezing issue during the Kitsune quest.

Intermittent game crashes triggered by various in-game actions.

Recently, Ghost of Yotei day 1 patch and patch 1.008 was released with quality of life changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players have been facing a number of error codes and game crashing issues. Today’s Ghost of Yotei patch 1.010 will fix a few of these issues.
