Generation Zero update 1.43 is rolling out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Generation Zero 1.43 patch notes, the latest update brings quality of life changes. Apart from this, Generation Zero version 1.43 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a major Generation Zero update 1.37 added a customizable Machine Companion called the Runner to assist players in combat against Machines, with features like weapon selection, repairability, inventory, and customization options. Unfortunately, since the last major update, some players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Generation Zero patch 1.43 will address a few of these issues.

- Resolved crashes related to the use of Shock Ammo
- Fixed issues with HEAT Ammo causing multiplayer crashes

Explosions and Balloons
- Stabilized the game against crashes linked to explosions
- Addressed concerns with Firebird balloons triggering unexpected crashes
AI and Vehicles
- Optimized machine pathfinding to prevent crashes
- Fixed instances of vehicles despawning and causing disruptions
- Improved overall stability during vehicle driving
Inventory Interaction
- Rectified crashes occurring when interacting with the inventory rapidly
Audio Stability
- Resolved crashes stemming from an excessive number of simultaneous sounds
Base and Mission Activities
- Enhanced stability for base assault completions
- Improved reliability during mission completions
Multiplayer Connectivity
- Addressed issues leading to unexpected disconnects in multiplayer sessions
Game Closure
- Fixed crashes that occurred during the game’s closure process
