Forza Motorsport Update 11 Patch Notes for August 12, 2024

Forza Motorsport update 11 details released for Xbox and PC. According to the official Forza Motorsport patch notes, the latest update adds support for Logitech TRUEFORCE, significant replay feature enhancements, multi-class racing in multiplayer, and a new track—Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Additionally, FM Motosport update 11 also includes various bug fixes and improvements.

Previously, a major update 1.0 was released with various gameplay changes. Unfortunately, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play. Today’s Forza Motorsport patch 11.0 will fix a few of these issues.

Stability and Performance [All Platforms]
  • Fixed a PC stability issue where deleting a custom advanced wheel or gamepad layout caused the game to crash.
  • Resolved crashes related to purchasing, viewing, and selecting points of interest on a car.
  • Fixed a crash when viewing the Driver List before a Featured Multiplayer race.
  • Addressed crashes during Multiplayer Intermission when an opponent disconnects.
  • Fixed post-race crash issues in Featured Multiplayer.
  • Improved shader optimization on PC during startup for all GPUs.
Gameplay [All Platforms]
  • Corrected car behavior where the player car would swerve unnaturally when exiting the pit lane.
  • Fixed achievement unlocking issues where completing prerequisites did not grant the achievement or reward.
  • Resolved tire wear telemetry issues where estimates were not initially generated.
  • Fixed pit stop calculations to account for tire wear and fuel burn for cars players had not yet driven.
  • Addressed a bug where players could drive normally after the car ran out of fuel.
  • Updated telemetry estimates to reflect changes made to the Tire Wear scalar in the Fuel and Tire menu.

  • Fixed an issue where Open Class Tour events in Career did not have any practice time after completing all practice laps.

  • Corrected a bug where Livery Editor decals reset after ungrouping.

  • Fixed a leaderboard bug where Rivals Leaderboards did not scroll past 50 entries.
  • Added Tire Wear Scalar visibility to the Fuel & Tire Menu in Featured Multiplayer.
  • Corrected visual inaccuracies in track loading art for Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Maple Valley.
  • Fixed a PC issue where changing the Dynamic Render Quality Settings field caused a “Reboot Required” warning window to open and close repeatedly without allowing player selection.
  • Fixed a Buy Cars menu issue on PC where players were unable to scroll left using a mouse.
  • Resolved a bug where players wrongly saw a “Controller Disconnected” window after closing the Xbox Menu when a second user was signed in.
  • Improved penalty visibility by adding a significant digit to minor penalties.
  • Fixed HDR-specific issues where vignette effects and motion blur in some races appeared as white instead of black.

  • Improved AI behavior by fixing an issue where the AI would stay on a poor driving line for a long time.

  • 2018 Audi RS 5 Coupe:
    • Fixed an issue with DRLs (daytime running lights) not functioning during daytime.

    • Fixed an issue where the rear bumper tail pipes disappeared after selecting the first ‘Street’ Rear Bumper.

    • Corrected the gauge backlight color.

Accessibility – Screen Narrator [All Platforms]
  • Lap Narration:
    • Narration now correctly states “Lap X” before the lap time in events with a fixed lap count instead of “Last Lap.”
  • Credit Earnings:
    • Full breakdown of credit categories earned is now narrated after overall earned credits in the race rewards scene.
  • Rivals Event Select:
    • Track description and temperature are now narrated.
  • PC Video Calibration:
    • Narration added to the Video Calibration text in the Video settings tab.
  • Series Standings:
    • Switching between Series Standings and Event scenes during a Career series will now narrate the context change. Series standings are narrated in a useful manner.
  • Event Setup:
    • Loading a saved event setup in Free Play or Private Multiplayer will now narrate the Game Stats panel.
  • Position Changes:
    • Relative position changes are now narrated in the post-race results driver list and series standings list.
  • Time-Based Text:
    • The time-based “Ends in X days” text in Welcome Center and time-limited Career Tours now narrates correctly.
  • Penalty Narration:
    • Narration of Forza Race Regulations penalty totals in Timed events is now accurate.
