Forza Horizon 5 (FH5) Update Patch Notes – July 18, 2023

Forza Horizon 5 (FH5) update patch notes are now available on Xbox consoles and Windows PCs. According to the official FH5 patch notes, the latest FH5 update brings Forza Horizon 5’s Summer Party. The Horizon Summer Party offers players the chance to drive Icons of Speed and enjoy a permanent night extension. Apart from this, today’s FH5 patch also includes new cars, a new story (Icons of Speed). stadium revamp summer Party, permanent increase to night, and more.

Previously, a major Forza Horizon 5 update added a new horizon story (Made in Mexico), 2 new Speed Zones, 12 new Accolades, and much more. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing a number of issues. Today’s FH5 Series 23 patch will fix a few of these issues.

Forza Horizon 5’s Summer Party

• The Horizon Summer Party offers players the chance to drive Icons of Speed and enjoy a permanent night extension.
• The night cycle has been extended based on player feedback, striking a balance between longer nights and enjoyable gameplay.

Fixes and Improvements in the Update

• Sometimes Auction House thumbnails would not match the car paint.
• Horizon Test Track UI “Performance Class” filter displayed instead of Manufacturer.
• Fixed incorrect collisions and clipping issues on the 2003 Donut Media 350Z ‘Hi Car’ and 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series.
• Improvements for 2022 Pagani Huarya R – flaps now function as an air brake, paintable panels, fixed displacement stat displaying 0 when switching between stock and race engine block.
• Added missing anti-lag pop animation to 2019 BMW Z4, 2019 Subaru STI S209 and 1997 BMW E36 M3 when respective AC Schnitzer, Varis and Rocket Bunny bodykits are installed.
• 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series V12 engine swap price has been reduced to 75,000 CR.
• Removed invisible thumbnail for Alejandra’s Truck from appearing in Horizon Promo.
• Fixed the audible blimp sound on the highway despite it not being there.
• [PC] Graphics setting reset upon closing the game.
• [PC] Binding or unblinding Steer Left or Steer Right might also unbind the other.
• [PC] Combine Steering and Combine Acceleration/Brakes options are not saved after changing unless Steering and Gas/Brake are rebound.

Icons of Speed Horizon Story

• Icons of Speed is the next Horizon Story, featuring 8 chapters.
• Players will team up with Alejandra, the head mechanic, and experience iconic cars throughout racing history.

Featured Car: 2019 Hennessey Camaro Exorcist

• The 2019 Hennessey Camaro Exorcist is a powerful car with over 1,000 horsepower, a 6.2-liter V8 engine, and impressive performance stats.
• Players can experience the thrill of unlimited horsepower and high speeds with this car.

Icons of Speed Accolades and Rewards

• By playing the Icons of Speed Horizon Story and unlocking the Festival Playlist reward cars, players can earn 10 new accolades.
• Accolades are awarded for completing story chapters, earning stars, and collecting specific cars.

Transformation of Horizon Stadium and Horizon Street Scene

• The Horizon Stadium and Horizon Street Scene are transformed for the Summer Party.
• New decorations, props, and collectibles add to the festive atmosphere.

Festival Playlist and Reward Cars

• The Festival Playlist offers 5 reward cars that can be earned by accumulating points.
• The featured cars include the 2018 DeBerti Ford Mustang GT, 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT, 1970 Hot Wheels Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Custom, 2022 Toyota GR86, and 1973 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SD-455.

Release Date and Duration of the Summer Party Update

• The Forza Horizon 5 Summer Party update will be available for download from July 18.
• Series content will be playable from July 20 until August 17.
