Fortnite update 5.05 is available to download on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 5.05 patch notes, the latest update fixes crashes, weapon and UI issues. Today’s Fortnite version 5.05 also includes stability fixes and performance improvements.

Fixed Issues
Battle Royale / Blitz Royale / Reload / OG
Stability and Gameplay Fixes
- Tournaments were temporarily disabled on Nintendo Switch 1 due to a crash bug.
- Chaos Reloader Shotgun reloading and firing issues were resolved.
User Interface and Visual Fixes
- Morphite weapons ammo count display was corrected on the Quick Bar in Reload mode.
- Pickaxe appearance after revive or reboot was corrected.
- Season X Umbrella visual effects issues were resolved.
Fortnite Mobile
Social Features
- Text chat was restored for Fortnite OG matches.
Rocket Racing
Progression and UI Fixes
- Visual XP mismatch on the Daily Repeatable Quests screen was corrected.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 4.93 (36.00) added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 5.05 will address a few of these issues.
