Fortnite Update 4.89 Patch Notes (v38.00) – November 1, 2025

Fortnite update 4.89 is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.89 patch notes, Fortnite v38.00 introduces the Springfield crossover featuring a new Battle Pass, Sidekicks system, and Simpsons-themed map. Players can enjoy weekly animated shorts, earn exclusive cosmetics, and prepare for the end-of-chapter event on November 29. Today’s Fortnite patch 4.89 also includes stability fixes.

Fortnite Update 4.89 – Springfield & Simpsons Crossover Arrives!

Springfield Content Drop

• The Springfield Island joins Fortnite with a fast-paced, 80-player Battle Royale mode.

• Giant donuts fall from the sky while Homer Simpson takes charge of the chaos.

Springfield Battle Pass

• Fight in a cel-shaded Springfield as iconic characters: Homer, Marge, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely.

• Includes Fortnite’s first-ever Sidekick, Peels, available exclusively until November 7.

• Packed with Simpsons cosmetics, gadgets, and fun rewards.

Introducing Fortnite Sidekicks

• Sidekicks are customizable companions that join you in Battle Royale, LEGO® Fortnite, and other experiences.

• Personalize traits, names, and accessories using Sidekick Points earned from in-game activities.

• Peels debuts November 1; Bonesy, Spike, and Lil’ Raptor arrive in the shop on November 7.

• More Sidekicks, including cat-themed ones, are coming soon.

Weekly Simpsons Animated Shorts

• New The Simpsons shorts air weekly via the Quests tab and Disney+.
