Fortnite Update 4.86 Patch Notes for PS4, PC and Xbox One

Fortnite update 4.86 is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.86 patch notes, Fortnite v37.40 introduces General Physics publishing, KPop Demon Hunters content, Custom Inventory & Items, Hive Lobbers wildlife, and Reckless Railways Prefabs. Today’s Fortnite patch 4.86 also fixes distorted audio for Xbox and PC players using Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos.

Fortnite v37.40 Ecosystem Updates & Release Notes

General Physics (Beta)

  • Physics-enabled islands can now be published.

  • Players can push, topple, and move objects for realistic, emergent gameplay.

  • Pinball Flipper and Pinball Bumper devices now fully physics-based.

  • Improved collision, impulse, and sound consistency for props.

  • Fixed issues with crouching, sprinting, emotes, and aiming.

  • Props now behave correctly with simulate physics toggles.

  • Smoother movement and improved replication for weapon animations.

Performance and Stability

  • Fixed an issue where players using NVIDIA graphics cards experienced crashes in DirectX 11.

Previously, a major Fortnite update 4.13 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 4.86 will address a few of these issues.
