Fortnite update 4.63 (v34.30) is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.63 patch notes, Sabrina Carpenter headlines Fortnite Festival Season 8 with themed outfits, emotes, and exclusive Jam Tracks. Group Emotes now allow synced dances, Jam Stage gets major upgrades, and bug fixes improve gameplay across all modes. Map Rotation Introduced

• Replaces unranked Ballistic.

• Alternates between Hammer Fall, Storm Chaser Cove, and Skyline 10.

• Maps are rotated based on recent player matches.

Shell Maps in Early Access

• Hammer Fall: Fortress-themed map with tall belfries and open fields.

• Storm Chaser Cove: Beach resort-style map favoring close-quarters combat.

• Both maps lack full environment art and are released for early feedback and layout testing.

New Gadgets

Fire Grenade

• Engulfs an area in flames.

• Deals area damage and forces enemies out of cover.

Overdrive

• Temporarily boosts:

  • Movement speed

  • Reload speed

  • Weapon swapping speed

  • Rift Point Device interaction speed

New Weapons

Burst Assault Rifle

• Fires accurate three-round bursts.

• Ideal for defending sites with high damage output.

Sovereign Sniper

• Lightweight sniper rifle.

Rank Reset

• All ranks reset with the launch of R&D Season 1.

• Players must play one match to establish rank.

• Ranking is based on:

• Matchmaking uses the party’s average rank.
