Fortnite Update 4.58 Patch Notes for PS4, PC & Xbox – March 6, 2025

Fortnite update 4.58 is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.58 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues related to the ranked cosmetics unlocking and Campfires breaking. Today’s Fortnite patch 4.58 also includes general stability and gameplay performance improvements.

General Fixes

Fortnite Crew Subscription Issue

• Resolved a button bind issue that led to unintended unsubscriptions when accessing the ‘Cancellation Info’ screen.
• Players can now safely navigate the cancellation screen without affecting their subscription.

Billing & Subscription Continuity

• Re-subscribing on the same platform during the billing window retains existing billing times and Crew membership status.

• Disabled the “Somebody’s planning a party in Crime City…” Found Quest due to an issue. The related “Help Big Dill with the party” Story Quest has been auto-completed.
• Fixed an issue preventing some players from connecting to matches, including in the NA Performance Evaluation tournament. The tournament window has been extended.
• Fixed an issue where Aim Assist on PC was not working correctly.

PC-Specific Fixes

• Temporarily disabled deep links to UEFN and Creative Islands due to an issue. A fix is in progress.
• Fixed a bug where PC players enabling TPM and Secure Boot were incorrectly shown as ineligible for certain tournaments. A restart may be required to see this update.
• Disabled Hardware Ray Tracing on PC due to crashes. A fix is in progress.

• Improved matchmaking stability.
• Addressed game crashing issues.

Battle Royale / Reload / OG

• Fixed a bug where Ranked cosmetics didn’t unlock styles after ranking up.
• Fixed an issue where campfires took damage and were destroyed after being lit.
• Fixed a bug causing the Vending Machine menu to close after purchase.

LEGO Fortnite

• Fixed a visual issue with plant growth display.
• Fixed a bug where some Journal tasks didn’t complete automatically.

Racket Racing

• Fixed a bug where some Journal tasks didn’t complete automatically.

Other Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the Batman Comic Book Cape didn’t animate properly in Performance Mode.
• Added stability fixes.

Previously, a major Fortnite update 4.13 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 4.58 will address a few of these issues.
