Each event now has a dedicated page, showing:

- Bookmarking option – adds a countdown notification in the Lobby of any Ranked experience 24 hours before the event starts.
Event Leaderboards
Leaderboards have received a major visual upgrade while keeping their core functionality.
- Displays current points threshold required for qualification.
- Shows player rankings, match count, and total points.
- Clicking on a competitor reveals:
- Victory Royales
- Average eliminations
- Average placement
- Points from eliminations & placement
- Players can opt out of having their stats displayed via Privacy Settings (appearing as “Mystery Competitor”).
Chapter 6 Season 2 Tournament Updates
- All tournaments from Chapter 6 Season 1 return with the same formats, schedule, and prizing.
- Divisional Cups Update:
- Division 1 players who reach a Major’s Group Stage or Finals remain in Division 1.
- 600 players total in Division 1, with the remaining spots filled based on top results.
- Weekly promotion from Division 2 to 1 has doubled for each region.
- Division 3 promotions remain the same.
- More events will be added throughout the season—stay tuned to the Compete tab and Fortnite Competitive’s social channels.

Improvements and QoL Changes

Performance & Stability
- Addressed multiple lag issues to improve game stability.
Gameplay Fixes
- Resolved a login issue preventing players from accessing their created Worlds.
- Fixed the “Board the Battle Bus” quest so it can be completed properly.
- Weapons from Supply Drops now drop correctly and display proper textures in the inventory.
- Fixed an issue where built Boom Barrels did not travel smoothly when thrown.
- The temperature in Dry Valley now updates according to the time of day.
UI & Audio Fixes
- Fixed a softlock issue for mobile players when opening the Village Square menu.
- Resolved an issue where the Compass was missing in created Sandbox worlds.
- Raven combat music now plays correctly.
- Passive crafting stations no longer restart when closing and reopening the menu.
Multiplayer Fixes
- Resolved an issue where all Eyes of the Storm were consumed by the Portal if multiple players deposited them at the same time.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 4.13 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 4.56 will address a few of these issues.
