Fortnite update 4.55 is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.55 patch notes, the latest update fixes major gameplay issues across multiple modes, including build mode issues on PC, and graphical settings in LEGO Fortnite. Today’s Fortnite patch 4.55 also includes stability fixes.

Battle Royale
[PC/EGS] Build Mode Issue
- Players cannot enter build mode when using build tools bound to the F key.
LEGO Fortnite
Quality Presets Resetting
- Graphics quality presets are always set to the highest option when loading into LEGO Fortnite.
Vampire Experiment Disconnect Bug
- If the Vampire player disconnects without converting anyone, the game will have no Vampires left.
Rocket Racing
Community Track Kick Issue
- Players may be sent back to the Lobby after spending over 30 minutes in a Community Track.
Save The World
Enemy and Sound Issues
- Husks may phase through built floor/ceiling sections from ramps.
- Mantling sounds are louder than intended.
Fortnite Mobile
Gameplay and UI Issues
- Screen may flicker on certain Android devices.
- Players cannot pick up ammo or items while using a Medkit or Shield Potion.
- The ‘Edit’ button is missing in Combat Mode.
- Missing Dynamic Quickbar Slot prevents Trap/Launch Pad use in OG Zero Build.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 4.13 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 4.55 will address a few of these issues.
