Fortnite update 4.54 (v33.30) is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.54 patch notes, the latest update v33.30 brings weapon balancing, in-match economy adjustments, and gameplay improvements. A Valentine’s event and new daily activities arrive in LEGO Fortnite. Today’s Fortnite patch 4.54 also includes multiple bug fixes enhance animations, UI, and stability.

Fortnite 4.54 Patch Notes (v 33.30) – January 31, 2025
Weapon Balance Changes
Hammer Pump Shotgun
- Increased point-blank and mid-range damage.
- Slightly reduced long-range damage.
- Headshot multiplier lowered from 3x to 2x.
Frenzy Auto Shotgun
- Slight increase in point-blank and mid-range damage.
- Slight decrease in long-range damage.
Reaper Sniper Rifle
- Faster first shot accuracy recovery.
- Magazine size increased from 3 to 5.
Economy Adjustments
- Rift Point Device plant bonus reduced from 500 → 200 Credits.
- Hyper SMG cost increased from 1500 → 1800 Credits.
- Frenzy Auto Shotgun cost reduced from 1600 → 1500 Credits.
- Reaper Sniper Rifle cost reduced from 5000 → 4700 Credits.
Other Gameplay Improvements
- Buy Phase Restrictions: Players can no longer drop or use Smoke Grenades, Flashbangs, or Flex Gadgets during the buy phase.
- Matchmaking Info: Pre-match screen now displays the number of players needed to start.

- Homespace Wrap Animation Restored.
- Emote Wheel Selection Fixed.
Battle Royale / Reload / OG
- Sliding Animation Glitch Fixed.
- BURD Structures now drop Metal instead of Stone.

LEGO Fortnite Update
New Valentine’s-Themed Event (Jan 31 – Feb 21, ET)
- Sunflower’s Flower Stand: Help locals by gifting Flowers, Love Letters, and Heart Wands.
- Earn Cupid’s Surprise, which may contain a Box of Chocolates decor item.
New Daily Activities (Permanent Feature!)
- Vampire Experiment (Mourndale Academy): Hide or become a vampire; survivors earn the Vamp Champ Trophy.
- Litter Boxing (Meowscles’ Beachfront Ring): Knock opponents out to win; champion gets Undisputed Gloves.
- A Race with Drift: Compete across Brick Bay; winner earns Speedster Trophy.
Vampire Experiment and Litter Boxing are available anytime, but full rewards are only given during daily activities.

- Lighting adjusted to better reflect time of day.
- NPC Messages now appear as notifications on your in-game phone.
- New Notifications App added for tracking messages.
Bug Fixes
- Quality Presets Loading Fixed (no longer defaults to highest setting).
- Job Listing Text More Readable.
- Backpack Icon Restored on map/compass.
Rocket Racing Fixes
- Reward Icon & Preview Restored for Lockjaw and Fuse Bundles.
- Community Track Lobby Kick Fixed (players no longer kicked after 30+ minutes).
Save the World Fixes
- Trap Stability Restored (Tornadoes no longer destroy Traps in Wargames).
- Hoverboard Fall Damage Corrected.
