Fortnite update 4.38 (Version 1.000.149) is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.38 patch notes, the latest update resolves emote playback issues in Creative/UEFN. Today’s Fortnite patch 4.38 also addresses player-stuck issues with cannons in LEGO Fortnite.

GENERAL FIXES
Fixed in Future Game Update
- Built-In Emotes now play correctly in Creative / UEFN Experiences.
BATTLE ROYALE FIXES
Fixed in Future Game Update
- Pickaxes now deal damage correctly on hit.
- The ‘Lock Input Method as Mouse’ setting now functions as intended.
LEGO FORTNITE FIXES
Fixed in Future Game Update
- Fixed issue where players could get stuck in a cannon if it was damaged or fell into water while operating.
- Barn Assignments no longer appear broken when interacting while a Klombo is following.
- Additional heart slots now persist after elimination with Slurp Juice and Health Charms.
- The bottom of the HUD no longer disappears after using macrobinoculars.
SAVE THE WORLD FIXES
Fixed in Future Game Update
- Hits from Vacuum Tube melee weapons now deal damage correctly.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 4.13 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 4.36 will address a few of these issues.
