Fortnite update 4.25 is available to download on PS4, PS5(Version 1.000.137), Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 4.25 patch notes, the latest update brings new changes, improvements and fixes. Besides, today’s Fortnite version 4.25 also includes general stability fixes for battle royale, Lego Fortnite and other modes.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 4.13 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite update 4.25 will address a few of these issues.

Fortnite 4.25 Patch Notes (Version 1.000.137)
Yoda Back Bling Fix:
- Addresses the issue with the Yoda Back Bling.
- Removed Bounty SHADOW Briefings.
- Plunder and Supply Drop SHADOW Briefings remain unaffected.
- No impact on existing Quests.
The following changes added previously.
- New Features:
- Introduction of the SUV Spawner and Placeable Ledge devices.
- Updates to the NPC Spawner, Fixed Angle Camera, Fixed Point Camera, and Third Person Controls devices.
- Ability to enable Jam Loops on islands.
- Addition of a new minigame in the Verse Starter Template.
- Details of New Features:
- The SUV Spawner from CH5 Battle Royale is now available for use in Creative and UEFN.
- The Placeable Ledge device allows adding ledge launch props from PBWs into islands without needing PBWs.
- Updates to NPC Spawner include two new modifiers: Effect Modifier and Movement Modifier.
- Burst Effects option added to the VFX Spawner device.
- Previews in Fixed Point Camera, Fixed Angle Camera, and Third Person Controls devices are active until the player deactivates them.
- Fade transition type added to Fixed Point and Fixed Angle Camera devices.
- Keyboard hotkeys for Inventory, Map, and Quick Bar can now both open and close menu screens.
- Jam Loops and Patchwork Integration:
- Players can enable Jam Loops in Island Settings and jam by selecting Jam Tracks from their Locker Jam Loops Wheel.
- Jamming on islands works similar to Fortnite Festival Jam Stage.
- Jam loop audio follows tempo, key, and major/minor settings of Patchwork audio if Patchwork devices are used on the island.
- New Minigame:
- The Verse Starter Template updated with a new minigame called Verse Commander.
- Players send commands to a character to solve puzzles.
- UEFN EULA Update:
- Updated EULA allows the inclusion of licensed music and provides access to additional information about content moderation practices.
- Addressed an issue where players were unable to bind the Touchpad on PlayStation controllers.
- Fixed a bug causing the Shuffle Loadout option to go missing.
- Fixed a bug where using the Mask (On) Edit Style with Byte would cause the face/mouth to warp strangely.
Battle Royale
- Fixed a bug where players would sometimes crash when opening their Map.
- Addressed an issue where the Ranked Solo Zero Build activation schedule was 1 hour behind what is stated in the game.
- Fixed a bug where the Splinter Assignment: The Ooze War Punchcard appeared twice.
Lego Fortnite
- Players can craft different rarities of fishing rods, including common, uncommon, rare, and epic, each requiring specific materials.
- Various types of fish are introduced in this update, including Orange Flopper, Blue Flopper, Green Flopper, Vendetta Flopper, and others, each with unique characteristics and locations.
- A new Food Processor Station allows players to turn caught fish into fish fillets, which can be used to make various seafood dishes using a grill.
- Fishing spots can be created using bait buckets of different rarities, attracting fish to specific locations.
- The update also adds new resources like sand and glass, which can be obtained using a shovel and crafted into glass, respectively.
- Tools like the spyglass and compass are introduced to enhance gameplay, offering magnification for distant views and basic navigation assistance.
- New villager options, including Turk, Outcast, and Bob, can appear in the game as potential villagers.
- Charms like the Reflection Charm and Wavebreak Charm are introduced, offering unique abilities to players.
- More outfits in Fortnite receive a LEGO Style, and players can now choose between different LEGO styles for certain outfits.
- Major improvements, adjustments, and bug fixes are made to gameplay, stability, performance, physics, and user interface aspects of the game.
- Addressed an issue where players could get stuck in the terrain and build parts when loading into their World.
- Increased the number of Villagers you can have to 20, meaning you can now have 4 Villages with 5 Villagers in each.
- Players can now sit in chairs!
- Recipes now consistently unlock in Sandbox mode.
- Fixed an issue where players’ stamina wouldn’t recharge.
- Players no longer spawn inside the foundation of buildings, inside the snow, or on top of things that they weren’t on top of when they had logged out.
- Friendly Villagers accompanying you on your adventure can now jump out of the water instead of getting stuck.
- Villagers accompanying you into caves now aren’t worried that it’s raining outside.
- Daggers now consistently deal damage while underneath enemies.
- Re-centered the dynamic platform’s pivot point to be in the middle of the platform, so it now rotates and snaps correctly.
- Fixed an issue that would sometimes stop players from rejoining their world.
- Fixed an issue where players sometimes could not place Building Parts on dynamic foundations until they were moved.
- Fixed an issue where objects would sometimes disappear from caves.
- Resources will now consistently drop from objects destroyed by physics.
- Several menus now accurately show your LEGO Style Outfit’s portrait.
- Fixed an issue where players could open the crafting menu while upgrading the crafting bench.
Rocket Racing
- Rocket Racing Season Zero introduces the Speed Run mode in v28.30, allowing players to set lap time records.
- The Speed Run mode challenges players to race against the clock on various tracks like Riviera, Anaconda, and Olympus.
- Ghost cars help players improve their lap times by showing their previous best performance.
- Speed Run can be played in public or private matches, with player collisions turned off.
- Completing runs in Speed Run contributes to the Speed Run Kickoff Quests, unlocking rewards such as the Sprintspark Trail and paint colors.
- Updates in v28.30 enhance the mobile gameplay experience with a touchscreen joystick and improved visuals.
- The Diestro Car Bundle and Xenosplash Boost Bundle introduce new items available for purchase in the Fortnite Shop.
- Major improvements and bug fixes include the addition of an Air Roll mechanic, adjustments to quests, collision improvements, and more precise time tracking.
- Various changes aim to enhance gameplay mechanics, such as drift boosts, aerial drifts, and speed pad bonuses.
- Fixed a bug where Boosts did not appear previewable in the Locker on mobile devices.
- You can now perform an Air Roll! Just hold the left trigger button while midair (or the spacebar on PC) and steer to spin through the air. You can also pair your rolls with your thrusters to fly across the track. We’re looking for feedback on this new advanced mechanic, so let us know what you think.
- Various Quests have been adjusted so that they can be progressed by playing Speed Run, Racing, or both! Quest descriptions have also been updated to reflect this.
- Further improvements to collisions while grounded have been made when hitting the environment to prevent getting stuck. We will continue to make improvements as needed.
- Improved checkpoint crossing times, and exposed one more millisecond digit to the scoreboard for more accurate time tracking.
- Increased the minimum speed to demolish in the air when hitting the front of the car, to match the speed required to demolish when grounded (400 KPH).
- Achieving a new drift boost while one is already active will now always give you the full impulse for a short duration instead of only making up the difference. This was partially the case in v28.20, but drift boosts that were smaller than the one you had were only 50% as effective.
- While you’re drifting, your wheels should now visually steer more sharply.
- You can no longer get bonus speed from a speed pad if your car already has an active stack of bonus speed from that same speed pad. You can still stack bonus speed from multiple different speed pads.
- Fixed an issue causing cars to sometimes launch backwards when landing an aerial drift after performing a lateral air dodge.
