Fortnite update 3.87 is rolling out on PS4, PC, PS5(version 1.000.099), Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 3.87 patch notes, the latest update contains quality of life fixes and improvements. Apart from this, today’s Fortnite version 3.87 also includes new items, game mode and other changes.
Previously, a major Chapter 2 Season 2 update added Doctor Strange, new weapons, features, new LTM modes, map changes, and more. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game since the last major update.

Battle Royale
The wait is over: Fortnite Battle Royale v24.20 brings the arrival of ODM Gear and Thunder Spears to the Island! (Speaking of the Island, discover Jaeger’s Family Basement in Anvil Square.)
Also, the Eren Jaeger Outfit is now unlockable in the Battle Pass. However, Eren isn’t the only member of the “Special Operations Squad”: pick up the Captain Levi and Mikasa Ackermann Outfits available now in the Item Shop!
BATTLE FROM ABOVE: ODM GEAR
Retrievable from the ground, Chests, and Scout Regiment Footlockers, put on Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) Gear. Having this apparatus equipped will give you the ability to grapple in the air and strike opponents below! After attacking with the built-in blades, you’ll immediately boost back into the air so you can grapple elsewhere… or hover and execute another attack.

FIGHT EXPLOSIVELY: THUNDER SPEARS
Also retrievable from the ground, Chests, and Scout Regiment Footlockers, Thunder Spears are arm-launched rockets designed to penetrate armored structures, detonating to damage enemies on both sides!
A Scout Regiment Footlocker, where you can find ODM Gear and/or Thunder Spears.
JAEGER’S FAMILY BASEMENT
Jaeger’s Family Basement has appeared on the Island! But just as this basement contains many secrets, its exact location in Anvil Square is a secret too. Find the location of this new nook in Anvil Square.
UNLOCK THE EREN JAEGER OUTFIT IN THE BATTLE PASS
The Eren Jaeger Outfit is now unlockable in the Battle Pass! Complete the Eren Jaeger Battle Pass Quests in Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 2 to unlock the Outfit plus other items:

If you own the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass, The Eren Jaeger Quests are available to complete now in the “Quests” tab. The Quests will remain available until the end of the Season! (The Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass purchase is required in order to complete the Eren Jaeger Quests.)
Whether you own the Battle Pass or not, complete an upcoming Week 5 Quest testing your Thunder Spear skills to unlock the Courageous Mikasa Spray, and complete the first of the upcoming Trigger Happy Trials to unlock the Scowling Levi Emoticon. (Please note that you need to complete the preceding “Treasure Hunting” Trials and “Process of Elimination” Trials for the Trigger Happy Trials to be available.)

BUG FIXES
A number of bug fixes were included in the v24.20 game update, including:
- Fixed an issue with the Phase Shift Forward+ Commander Perk that prevented it from applying the 140% movement speed increase when used.
- Fixed an issue where players would receive a generic Network Connection Lost message when loading into a Save the World mission without it installed.
- Fixed an issue where the audio wouldn’t play during videos before and after the tutorial.
- Fixed an issue where console players could not see duplicate perks on Defenders.
- Fixed an issue where the Hoverboard could appear invisible when players mounted it.
- Fixed an issue where the Riot Shield Husky would leave the shield in the world after being eliminated.
