Fortnite Update 25.10 Patch Notes Details

Fortnite update 25.10 is rolling out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Switch and PC. According to the official Fortnite 25.10 patch notes, the latest update adds new changes in Battle Royale, Save the World and Creative mode. In addition, today’s Fortnite version 25.10 also includes reward changes.

Previously, a major Fortnite update 23.30 added new features, new LTM modes, new changes, and much more. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite patch 25.10 will address a few of these issues.

Fortnite 25.10 Patch Notes – June 20, 2023

Battle Royale

Cloak Gauntlets: The v25.10 update introduces Cloak Gauntlets made with reflective Kinetic Ore, allowing players to become nearly invisible. The gauntlets can be found in the game world and have unlimited charges, but players cannot attack while using them.

Wildguard Relik’s Cloak Gauntlets: Defeating the boss Wildguard Relik grants players access to Mythic Cloak Gauntlets with longer duration and shorter cooldown.
Relik’s MK-Alpha Assault Rifle: Wildguard Relik also drops a Mythic version of the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, a powerful fully automatic weapon with a red-dot sight.
Flare Gun: The Flare Gun has been unvaulted, allowing players to ignite enemies’ structures and start fires. Players can also use mud to avoid being marked by Flare Guns.

Shockwave Grenades in Zero Build: Shockwave Grenades make a return in the Zero Build mode, and can be found on the ground and in Chests.
Reality Augments: Two new Reality Augments are introduced – Mud Warrior, which regenerates health and shield while in mud, and SMG Extended Mag, which increases SMG magazine size. Tracker’s Armory Reality Augment is also unvaulted, providing instant access to a Flare Gun and Shadow Tracker.
Miscellaneous Updates: Chickens and Sky Jellies have been vaulted, while the population of wolves and boars has been reduced. Fishing spots are less frequent.
Rank Reset: Ranked Season Zero brings a rank reset for Battle Royale and Zero Build modes, allowing for testing before Chapter 4 Season 4 Ranked. Urgent Quest completion is not reset, but the appearance of the Burn Bright Emote may change based on the new rank.
Chapter 4 Season 3 Super Level Styles: Bonus Styles for Battle Pass rewards are available for players progressing past Level 100. The v25.10 update introduces Super Level Styles, which can be unlocked by reaching Level 125, offering new looks for various outfits.

Save The World

Blasted Badlands Venture Season:
- Introduces the Rage Meter modifier, Venture Level rewards, and returning Venture Challenge Quests.
- Energy does not regenerate naturally, but ability cooldowns and damage are increased. Eliminating Husks refills the energy bar.
Hit the Road Questline:
- Quinn and Crackshot embark on a journey to broadcast their Songs of the Summer.
- Each character has unique modifiers that evolve throughout the questline.
Event and Weekly Store:
- Dennis Jr., the Burger boss-turned-Hero, joins with his own questline and the Perk Burger Buff.
- Tricera Ops Ramirez arrives on June 28 with healing abilities.
Bug Fixes:
- Team fill options no longer disabled when privacy settings aren’t set to “Friends Only.”
- Fixed an issue where a rift could block tracks in Deliver the Bomb Missions.

Changes to Reward Systems

Removal of Daily Login Rewards: With the release of Fortnite’s v25.10 update, Daily Login Rewards will be removed from Save the World.
Redistribution of Rewards: The rewards from Daily Login will be shifted to other sources, primarily Daily Quests and Mission Alerts.
Ensuring Reward System Value: The goal is to ensure that the reward system remains valuable as players progress to higher difficulty levels in Save the World.
Compensation through Daily Quests: Completing a single Daily Quest and Mission Alert should compensate for the removal of Daily Login Rewards.
Daily Quest Rewards: In v25.10, the rewards for Daily Quests will be enhanced.
- Additional X-Ray Tickets: Each Daily Quest completion will provide an additional 30 X-Ray Tickets.
- Additional V-Bucks for Founders: Founders will receive an additional 30 V-Bucks for each Daily Quest completion.
- Gold Increase: The amount of Gold awarded by Daily Quests will be increased by 10 Gold per quest.
Weekly Store Expansion: To accommodate the increased Gold awarded by Daily Quests, the quantity of resources available in the Weekly Store will be increased.
Daily Founders Llamas: Players who purchased Founders Packs before July 2020 will receive any remaining unused Upgrade Llamas and Founders Llamas the next time they log into Save the World.
Improvements to Mission Alerts: To compensate for the removal of Schematics, Heroes, Defenders, Survivors, and Evolution Materials from Daily Login Rewards, improvements will be made to Mini-Boss Mission Alerts in v25.10.
- Increased Reward Rarity: The average rarity of reward items from Mini-Boss Mission Alerts will be increased.
- Bonus Rewards: Mini-Boss Mission Alerts will have a chance to grant a second bonus reward of the same type and rarity.
- Increased Mini-Llama Quantity: Alerts granting Mini-Llamas may provide a higher quantity of Mini-Llamas or replace them with Upgrade Llamas.
Storm Alerts Reward Changes: All Storm Alerts on the map will have a chance to grant items and Llamas instead of always rewarding Evolution and Perk Materials. This change aims to reduce the reward gap between Storm Venture Seasons and Mini-Boss Venture Seasons.
Increased Evolution Materials: As there will be fewer Evolution Materials available on the map due to the changes, the quantity of Evolution Materials earned when completing a Storm Alert will be increased.
Early Campaign Quests: Rare, Epic, and Legendary-rarity items will be added to the Campaign Quests in Stonewood and Plankerton to compensate for the loss of lower-rarity items from Daily Login Rewards.
Endurance Daily Quests: Daily Quests for Storm Shield Endurance will now offer Save the World-specific rewards, including Evolution Materials, Perk Materials, and Gold, in addition to Battle Royale Battle Pass XP.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where Hollowhead’s glowing eyes would clip through his head.
Addressed a bug that caused Dark Power Chord’s face to remain unchanged during emotes, without displaying any expressions.
Resolved a visual issue that affected the face of the Craggy Champion outfit.
Fixed a graphical stretching problem that occurred with the “Instruments of Destruction” emote.
Corrected the color of the rings on the Airbound Eyes contrail from pink/red to blue.
Addressed a bug where Ranked Urgent Quest descriptions would disappear if players were eliminated and rebooted before completing the Quest.
