Fortnite update 1.000.219 is available to download on PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC. According to the official Fortnite update 40.30 patch notes, the latest update restores controller access in the rewards menu, fixes missing cape textures, corrects desert foliage placement, and resolves a glider failure tied to Bus Stations in LEGO Fortnite. Today’s Fortnite patch 1.000.219 also includes stability fixes.

Update v40.30 Highlights
- Controller input restored when entering the Bonus Rewards menu.
- Several vehicle bodies temporarily removed while stability issues are investigated.
- Texture problem corrected for Ascendant Midas’ Golden King’s Cape style.
- Glider reliability improved after using Bus Stations in LEGO mode.
General Fixes
- Resolved loss of controller response after accessing the Bonus Rewards section.
- Disabled select car bodies until related faults are corrected.
- Fixed missing visual textures on the “Shade” variant of Ascendant Midas’ Golden King’s Cape.
- Corrected display issue affecting the Lightyear Wings Back Bling.
Battle Royale
- Addressed problem causing plants and foliage to appear incorrectly within the Desert biome.
LEGO Fortnite
- Fixed issue that prevented gliders from functioning after interacting with a Bus Station.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 39.40 added a Valentine’s Day event with themed quests and cosmetics, multiple crossover waves arrive including Honkai Star Rail, Marvel Rivals Wave 2, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and Chappell Roan. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 1.000.219 will fix a few of these issues.
