Battle Royale / Blitz Royale / Reload / OG
- Tournaments temporarily disabled on Nintendo Switch 1 due to a crash bug.
- Chaos Reloader Shotgun reloading and firing issues resolved.
- Morphite weapons ammo count display corrected on the Quick Bar in Reload mode.
- Pickaxe appearance after revive or reboot corrected.
- Season X Umbrella visual effects issues resolved.
Fortnite Mobile
- Text chat restored for Fortnite OG matches.
Rocket Racing
- Visual XP mismatch on the Daily Repeatable Quests screen corrected.
Known Issues
General
- Storage space issues affecting Nintendo Switch players.
- Locker tab may be missing when returning to the Lobby.
- Overlay Contrail may not appear in the Locker.
Battle Royale / Blitz Royale / Reload / OG
- All Quests may appear completed when returning to the Lobby.
- Players may become stuck under terrain when using the Particle Accelerator while affected by the Overdrive Grenade.
- Reboot action may fail when mapped to a custom bind in Reload mode.
- Controller inputs may trigger Crouch and Confirm Edit simultaneously with custom controls.
LEGO Fortnite
- Swivels may break builds.
- Missing notification when unlocking Charm recipe.
- ‘F’ key conflict prevents interaction with objects.
- Vehicle flip prompt may not appear.
- Isabelle may not respond during blackboard interaction.
- Wasp 8000 Motorcycle may float after dismounting while moving.
- Storm King weak points and Rift Spawners may become immune to damage near enemies.

Previously, a major Fortnite update 39.40 added a Valentine’s Day event with themed quests and cosmetics, multiple crossover waves arrive including Honkai Star Rail, Marvel Rivals Wave 2, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and Chappell Roan.
