According to the official Fortnite update 1.000.215 patch notes, the latest Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 update 40.00 introduces team-based progression, a deep Rivalry system, new loot, and gameplay mechanics like Battle Bus driving and Rift anomalies. Today’s Fortnite patch 1.000.215 also includes changes for the Arenas mode and multiple maps, while PC stability and returning player support improve overall experience.

World State Restorations:

Starting in 40.00, you can now restore your world state to a previously saved World State once every 24 hours.

This can be done by any world owner on the Select World screen. You should now see a Restore Options button.

The last 10 rolling World States from the currently released version of the game are saved every hour of playtime or when you start/end a session.

We also save the latest World States from the last two releases.

Restoring a world state is not available for any world with permadeath enabled.

To prevent a checkpoint from being overridden, click Preserve World State; it will always be available to restore every 24 hours.

Previously, a major Fortnite update 39.40 added a Valentine’s Day event with themed quests and cosmetics, multiple crossover waves arrive including Honkai Star Rail, Marvel Rivals Wave 2, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and Chappell Roan. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 1.000.215 will fix a few of these issues.
