Pickle Rick Cup Event


Event Format

  • Mode: Solo Battle Royale.

  • Each session lasts about 3 hours.

  • Players can play up to 10 matches per session.

  • Points are earned using the in-game scoring system.

  • Only matches that start before the session ends count.


Leaderboard and Winners

  • Rankings are based on total points earned during the session.

  • Top players on each regional leaderboard receive rewards.

Tiebreaker Order
  1. Total points

  2. Total Victory Royales

  3. Average eliminations

  4. Average placement

  5. Total survival time


Platforms

  • Tournament is cross-platform (PC, console, and supported mobile devices).

  • Different platforms may have different features.

  • Epic does not balance advantages between platforms.


Player Eligibility

  • Minimum age: 13 years old (or higher depending on country).

  • Epic account must:

    • Be level 50 or higher.

    • Have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled.

    • Be owned and used only by the player.

    • Be in good standing with no active bans.

Additional restrictions:

  • One Epic account per player.

  • One player per device during the event.

  • Players from certain restricted countries cannot participate.


Player Name Rules

  • Names must follow Fortnite’s Code of Conduct.

  • Names cannot include Epic or Fortnite trademarks.

  • Names cannot impersonate other players, celebrities, or officials.


Technical Issues

  • Matches will usually not restart due to bugs, disconnects, or crashes.

  • Players must continue playing through most issues.

  • Exploiting bugs for advantage is prohibited.


Scoring and Leaderboards

  • Scores are recorded by the Fortnite game client.

  • The in-game leaderboard score is considered official during the event.

  • Epic may adjust rankings later if rule violations occur.


Code of Conduct

Players must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and good sportsmanship.

Competitive Integrity

  • Planned cooperation with opponents


Betting Restrictions

  • Players cannot bet on the tournament or benefit from gambling related to it.


Reporting Violations

  • Players can report rule violations to Epic administrators or event support.

  • All reports are investigated by Epic.


Disciplinary Actions

Epic may apply penalties such as:

  • Warnings

  • Loss of points

  • Prize removal

  • Disqualification from matches or sessions

  • Bans from future Fortnite competitions

Epic’s decisions are final and binding.


Prizes

Rewards depend on regional leaderboard placement.

Top placements receive:

  • “Pickle Rick” Outfit

  • “Pickle Rick Pack” Back Bling

Players who earn 8 points receive:

  • “Pickle Rick!” Spray

Regional Placement Rewards
  • EU: Top 2,350 players

  • NAC: Top 900 players

  • BR / NAW: Top 400 players

  • OCE / ASIA / ME: Top 250 players


Prize Conditions

  • Players from Turkey and Russia cannot receive prizes.

  • Winners must verify eligibility and provide tax/payment information.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and may be replaced by Epic if necessary.


Publicity

  • Epic may use player names, gameplay, and likeness for promotional purposes related to Fortnite events.


Legal

  • Rules are governed by North Carolina law (USA).

  • Participants waive the right to a jury trial for disputes related to the event.

Wild Week 1: Unvaulted & Unhinged

  • OG Assault Rifle returns with improved accuracy and a 1.75× headshot multiplier.

  • OG Hunting Rifle returns in all rarities with a temporary one-shot headshot crit multiplier.

  • Balloons unvaulted.

Wild Week 2: Vending Spree (Starts March 12)

  • Unvaulted items from Week 1 remain available.

  • Bars gain rate significantly increased across the Island.

  • Premium vending machines spawn at every location.

  • Power Hour events grant two hours of Supercharged XP for each session:

    • March 14 at 3:30 PM ET

    • March 15 at 10 AM ET

  • Power Hour features:

    • 7-shaped Storm

    • Gold Rush rift anomaly for the first circle

    • Increased Legendary POIs

    • Glider Redeploy enabled

Weapon Changes

  • MK-Seven Assault Rifle and Deadeye Assault Rifle shots become projectiles beyond 100m.

  • Shots now require travel time and include slight bullet drop at extreme range.

  • Deadeye Assault Rifle remains vaulted in Battle Royale but the change applies to Reload, Blitz, and other modes.

Improvements

  • ‘Play Again’ matchmaking improved for faster entry into the next match.

  • Post-match requeue time window extended.

  • Tournament points UI widget no longer overlaps party information.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing Mordecai’s “Oooohhh!” emote audio to end earlier than intended.

Known Issue

  • Players cannot jump through windows broken by assault rifles or snipers.

  • Hurdling through the window allows jumping afterward.

  • Fix planned for version 40.00.

Previously, a major Fortnite update 39.40 added a Valentine’s Day event with themed quests and cosmetics, multiple crossover waves arrive including Honkai Star Rail, Marvel Rivals Wave 2, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and Chappell Roan.
