Fortnite update 1.000.169 is available to download on PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 1.000.169 patch notes, the latest update improves matchmaking, fixes issues with Ranked cosmetics, campfires, and vending machines in Battle Royale. Today’s Fortnite patch 1.000.169 also addresses visual bugs in LEGO Fortnite and Racket Racing.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 29.00 added new features, new LTM modes, new changes, and much more. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 1.000.169 will address a few of these issues.

General Fixes
Fortnite Crew Subscription Issue
- Resolved a button bind issue that led to unintended unsubscriptions when accessing the ‘Cancellation Info’ screen.
- Players can now safely navigate the cancellation screen without affecting their subscription.
Billing & Subscription Continuity
- Re-subscribing on the same platform during the billing window retains existing billing times and Crew membership status.
- Disabled the “Somebody’s planning a party in Crime City…” Found Quest due to an issue. The related “Help Big Dill with the party” Story Quest has been auto-completed.
- Fixed an issue preventing some players from connecting to matches, including in the NA Performance Evaluation tournament. The tournament window has been extended.
- Fixed a bug where Aim Assist on PC was not working correctly.
- Fixed: Batman Comic Book Cape not animating properly in Performance Mode.
- Improved: Matchmaking stability and performance.
PC-Specific Fixes
- Fixed a bug where PC players enabling TPM and Secure Boot were incorrectly shown as ineligible for certain tournaments. A restart may be required to see this update.
Battle Royale / Reload / OG
- Fixed: Ranked cosmetics not unlocking styles after ranking up.
- Fixed: Campfires taking damage and being destroyed after lighting.
- Fixed: Vending Machine menu closing unexpectedly after purchase.
LEGO Fortnite
- Fixed: Inaccurate growth display of harvestable plants. (Visual issue only)
- Fixed: Certain Journal tasks not completing automatically despite meeting requirements. (Visual issue only)
Racket Racing
- Fixed: Certain Journal tasks not completing automatically despite meeting requirements. (Visual issue only)
