Fortnite update 1.000.165 is available to download on PS5, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 1.000.165 patch notes, the latest update fixes multiple gameplay issues across various Fortnite modes. The Homespace Wrap now animates correctly, and players can open the Emote Wheel without selecting an emote. Additionally, today’s Fortnite patch 1.000.165 also includes UI fixes, trap stability improvements, and fall damage adjustments for the Hoverboard.
Previously, a major Fortnite update 29.00 added new features, new LTM modes, new changes, and much more. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite version 1.000.165 will address a few of these issues.

Balance Changes and Economy Adjustments
Ballistic v33.30 includes balance changes for theHammer Pump Shotgun,Frenzy Auto Shotgun, andReaper Sniper Rifle, plus adjustments to the in-match economy.
Weapon Balance Changes
Hammer Pump Shotgun
- Point-blank damage increased.
- Mid-range damage increased.
- Long-range damage slightly reduced.
- Headshot multiplier reduced from 3 to 2.
Frenzy Auto Shotgun
- Point-blank damage slightly increased.
- Mid-range damage slightly increased.
- Long-range damage slightly reduced.
Reaper Sniper Rifle
- First shot accuracy recovery time reduced.
- Magazine size increased from 3 to 5.
Economy Adjustments
- Rift Point Device plant bonus reduced from 500 to 200 Credits.
- Hyper SMG cost increased from 1500 to 1800 Credits.
- Frenzy Auto Shotgun cost reduced from 1600 to 1500 Credits.
- Reaper Sniper Rifle cost reduced from 5000 to 4700 Credits.
Other Improvements & Updates
- Players are no longer able to manually drop Smoke Grenades or Flashbangs during the buy phase.
- Players are no longer able to use Flex Gadgets, Smoke Grenades, or Flashbangs during the buy phase.
- The pre-match “waiting for players” screen now shows how many remaining players are needed for the match to begin.

New Daily Activities (Permanent Feature!)
Vampire Experiment
- Located at Mourndale Academy.
- Some players turn into vampires, others must hide using invisibility.
- Earn Creds for participation.
- Survivors get the Vamp Champ Trophy decor item.
Litter Boxing
- Hosted by Meowscles near his beachfront boxing ring.
- Knock opponents out of the ring to win.
- All participants earn Creds.
- The winner gets the Undisputed Gloves decor item.
A Race with Drift
- Race from Wheels n’ Deals across Brick Bay.
- Earn Creds and the Speedster Trophy for winning.
- Only available as a daily activity.
Note: Vampire Experiment and Litter Boxing can be played anytime, but full rewards are only given during daily activities.
Additional Updates & Improvements
- Better in-game lighting to reflect the time of day.
- Messages from NPCs now appear as notifications on your in-game phone.
- New Notifications App to track in-game messages.
Bug Fixes
- Quality Presets Loading Fixed – Presets no longer default to the highest setting automatically.
- Job Listing Text Visibility Improved – Text is now more readable in job listings.
- Backpack Icon Restored – Backpack icon will now appear on the map or compass, even if far from the respawn point or in a cave.
Rocket Racing
- Reward Icon & Preview Restored – The Lockjaw and Fuse Bundles now display their reward icon and preview in the Quest tab.
- Community Track Lobby Kick Issue Fixed – Players will no longer be kicked to the lobby after 30+ minutes in a Community Track.
Save the World
- Trap Stability Restored – Tornadoes will no longer destroy Traps during Wargames or Endurance runs.
- Hoverboard Fall Damage Adjusted – Fall damage is now correctly reduced while riding the Hoverboard.
