Fortnite 3.96 Patch Notes (Update 1.000.108)

Epic Games have released a new Fortnite update 3.96 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 3.96 patch notes, the latest update introduces Futurama-themed outfits with Bender, Fry, and Leela, along with their matching accessories. Besides, today’s Fortnite version 3.96 also includes the powerful Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun and the new Mammoth Pistol, among other exciting changes to the game.

Previously, a major Fortnite Chapter 4 update added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing several issues with the game. Today’s Fortnite update 3.96 will address a few of these issues.

Fortnite x Futurama Update (v25.20)

• • Bender, Fry, and Leela Outfits arrive in Fortnite.
  • Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun is available on the Island and in the Item Shop.

New Outfits and Accessories

• • Bender Bending Rodríguez Outfit with Universe 1 Bender alt Style and Ben Rodríguez Back Bling.
  • Philip J. Fry Outfit with Universe 1 Fry alt Style and Hypnotoad Back Bling.
  • Turanga Leela Outfit with Universe 1 Leela alt Style and Nibbler Back Bling.
  • Various matching pickaxes available in the shop.

Additional Accessories

• • Planet Express Ship Glider and Zoidberg Scuttle Emote are available in the Item Shop.

Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun

• • Available on the Island until v25.30.
  • Obtained from the ground or Bender himself with Bars.
  • Shoots an infinite supply of plasma but can overheat if fired too much.

New Weapon: Mammoth Pistol

• • Large-caliber, single-shot pistol that uses heavy ammo.
  • Found in the Wilds, Chests, Holo-Chests, or flying drones.

Pistol Reality Augments

• • Pistol Recycle Reality Augment: Chance for Pistol shots to cost 0 ammo.
  • Desperate Reload Reality Augment: Faster reload for Pistols with empty clips.

New Reality Augment: Scoped Salvo

• • Increases damage for scoped weapons but decreases fire rate.

Unvaulted Weapon: Lever Action Shotgun

• • Available on the ground, regular and Rare Chests, Holo-Chests, flying drones, or by claiming a POI.
  • The Maven Auto Shotgun is now only obtainable from Characters.

Flare Gun Note

• • The regular Flare Gun remains vaulted in v25.20.

Competitive Notes

• Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun is not included in tournaments.

Bug Fixes

• Addressed a bug where character may be invisible in the Lobby.
• Fixed an issue where scrolling past Mjolnir’s Flight glider in the locker may cause the game to crash
• Fixed an issue where multiple outfits may appear shiny/glossy
• Addressed a bug where Sound effects missing from the Maxx Axe Pickaxe
• Fixed an issue where Meow Skulls is missing her tail
• Addressed a bug where players may not be given full weapon damage credit for some Ranked quests
• Addressed a bug where Players may experience lag when using specific projectile traps
• Fixed an issue where Hero Loadout Rows may appear invisible.
• General stability fixes added.
• Performance improvements add.
• Other minor tweaks.
