For Honor Update 2.56 Patch Notes for PS4, PC and Xbox

For Honor version 2.56 (Update 2.56.1) is available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official For Honor update 2.56 patch notes, the latest update introduces new abilities for Warden, Sohei, and Lawbringer, improving utility and mobility. Apart from this, For Honor patch 2.56 also enhances visuals, map interaction, and stability.

Previously, a big update added crossplay across all platforms (PC, PlayStation, and Xbox) for PVP and PVE mode. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues while playing the game. For Honor patch 2.56 will fix a few of these issues.

Summary of Changes

  • Warden Feats Reworked: Introduced Death Toll, Enfeeble, Total Recovery, and Trebuchet. Enhanced utility and damage potential.
  • Sohei Adjustments: Uninterruptible stance added to key moves, enhanced mobility in Soul Attacks.
  • Lawbringer New Moves: Added Precise Jurisdiction and Final Jurisdiction for chasing opponents.
  • Nuxia Zone Attack Update: Now a 2-hit sequence with mixup options.
  • Hitokiri Nerfs: Reduced health and stamina; adjusted mobility and stamina drain mechanics.

Fighters Balancing Changes


Warden
  • Feat Changes:
    • Body Count replaced with Death Toll:
      • Grants 3 Health and 3 Stamina when killing Soldiers and Pikemen.
    • Fiat Lux replaced with Enfeeble:
      • Shoulder Bash reduces enemy damage by 10% for 10 seconds.
    • Takedown replaced with Total Recovery:
      • Revived allies return with full Health.
    • Catapult replaced with Trebuchet:
      • Calls a strike dealing 70 damage (no falloff) in 1 second.
      • Cooldown: 180 seconds.

Sohei
  • Attack Updates:
    • Heavy Openers and Mad Monk gain Uninterruptible Stance at 400ms.
    • Soul Attacks:
      • Improved forward movement and rotation speed.
      • Now gain Souls when trading hits.
    • Bulwark Counter: No longer generates Souls against Black Prior.

Lawbringer
  • New Moves:
    • Precise Jurisdiction: Front Dodge > Light Attack (all stances).
    • Final Jurisdiction: Front Dodge > Heavy Attack (all stances).
  • Damage Buffs:
    • Top Heavy Opener: 25 damage (up from 23).
    • Side Heavy Openers: 24 damage (up from 22).

Nuxia
  • Zone Attack Rework:
    • Attack split into two hits:
      • First Hit: 500ms, deals 11 damage.
      • Second Hit: 800ms, deals 24 damage.
      • Can feint or soft feint into Traps.

Hitokiri
  • Stat Adjustments:
    • HP: 125 (down from 140).
    • Stamina: 120 (down from 130).
  • Move Adjustments:
    • Rei Kick and Rei Sweep no longer drain stamina.
    • Endless Myriad: Reduced forward movement.

Varangian Guard
  • Superior Block Timing Standardized:
    • Opener Lights, Finisher Lights, and specific moves (e.g., Sellsword’s Bounty) reduced to a 200ms window (down from 300ms).

Berserker
  • Fixed directional dodge issue under certain conditions.
