Fix 1

  1. Go to NBA2K.com and Sign in with our account to perform an automatic verification via the login.
  2. The maximum number of NBA 2K accounts that can be created on a single console is 5.

Fix 2

  1. Click connect and sign in.
  2. Go down to the options and features.
  3. Now go to the credits and let the credits roll.
  4. Now you will see a new Update popup message.

This will fix error 4b538e50 in NBA 2K21.

Fix 3

There may be some software blocking your connection to the servers. If that’s the case, you will need to try a PathPing and a TraceRoute to see if there is any interference. Just follow these steps:

On a computer (which needs to be connected to the router you are currently using)

1. Open the Windows menu, type “CMD” and press Enter.

2. In the command prompt, enter the following command:

pathping -n 104.255.107.131

3. After a few seconds, the command prompt is going to show some statistics. To copy the output, right-click anywhere in the window and select: Select All. Right click again and select Copy. Open Notepad. Press Ctrl+V to paste into Notepad.

4. Back at the prompt, type tracert 104.255.107.131 and press Enter. Please wait until the window says Trace Complete.

Fix 4

PlayStation 4

Restart your console:

  • Turn off your console and then turn it back on.

Clear your PS4’s cache to fix 2K error 4b538e50 in NBA2K21:

PLAYSTATION 4

  1. Press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller.
  2. Select “Turn Off PS4”.
  3. Let the PlayStation 4 to fully power down and wait for 10 to 20 seconds.
  4. Restart the PlayStation 4.

XBOX ONE

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select Restart console. When prompted, select Restart.

Alternatively, press and hold the Xbox button for about 10 seconds until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, press the Xbox button on the console again to restart.
