[FIXED] Error WS-37400-4 in PlayStation 4 and PS5 [NEW]

This error occurs when a user fails to login to the PSN network. The error code WS-37400-4 is related to network connection issues. Sometimes it is a PSN backend issue or PSN is offline.

How to Fix Error PlayStation error code WS-37400-4?

Changes Router DNS

To do this, access your router’s web interface and log in with the admin credentials. Find a DNS server option on one of the pages. The option may be under LAN or DHCP server settings.

Change your Router DNS to the following.

OpenDNS
PRIMARY:208.67.222.222
SECONDARY:208.67.220.220

googleDNS
PRIMARY:8.8.8.8
SECONDARY:8.8.4.4

Make sure your PS4’s system software has the most recent update:

  • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
  • Choose “System Software Update” and allow any system updates to install.
  • Reboot your PlayStation 4.

Clear your PS4’s cache:

PLAYSTATION 4

  1. Press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller.
  2. Select “Turn Off PS4”.
  3. Let the PlayStation 4 to fully power down and wait for 10 to 20 seconds.
  4. Restart the PlayStation 4.

A PSN backend update will fix the error WS 37400 4.
