Fishing Planet Update 5.00 Patch Notes (4.24)

Fishing Planet update 5.00 is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. According to the official Fishing Planet 4.24 patch notes, the latest update introduces the expansive Kaiji No Ri map, realistic ocean simulation, dynamic sea life, and multi-player fishing. Apart from this, Fishing Planet patch 4.24 also includes new yachts, advanced fishing mechanics, and over 500 saltwater items enhance gameplay.

Previously, a big Fishing Planet update 4.16 added the Selenge Mongolia and various quality-of-life fixes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Fishing Planet version 4.19 will fix a few of these issues.

New Map: Kaiji No Ri, Japan

  • 400 sq km Ocean Map: Home to 18 fish species like Bluefin Tuna and Striped Marlin.
  • Level Requirements: Accessible at level 83; new max level cap raised to 90.
  • DLC Access: Unlockable with 30 or 60-day pond pass DLC packs.

Realistic Ocean Simulation

  • Dynamic Water Effects: Includes various wave types and intense storms.
