Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) update 8.29 is now rolling out for PlayStation 4 players. According to the official Final Fantasy 14 update 8.29 patch notes, the new update added bug fixes and gameplay changes. Apart from this, the latest Final Fantasy XIV version 8.29 also includes stability and performance improvements.
Previously, a big update was released with New cities, New field areas, gameplay changes, bug fixes and more. Unfortunately, since the last patch, many players are experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s FFXIV 8.29 for PS4 is expected to fix a few of these issues.
Under certain conditions, the server might crash in Eden’s Verse: Iconoclasm.
After exiting “snipe mode,” all actions beside movement may become impossible if a cutscene of any kind plays before logging out.
*”Snipe mode” refers to a first-person view mode specific to minigames in certain quests, used in aiming blowguns and such, or trying to find certain objectives.
When “Battle Effects” are toggled off in group pose, other NPC and monster effects that should not be affected will also be toggled off in certain conditions.
