A new EA FC 25 update 1.09 is available on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official FC 25 1.09 patch notes, the latest title update 5 enhances gameplay realism with better cross placement, defensive adjustments, and goalkeeper improvements. Apart from this, FC 25 patch 1.09 also includes visual and audio updates refine the overall experience, while bug fixes improve match logic, player interactions, and mode stability.

- Crosses now moderately land further ahead of the intended receiver.
Fixes and Improvements
- Defensive line no longer drops deeper than intended when the attacking team controls the ball in the defending half.
- Central and defensive midfielders now maintain proper positioning when defending.
- Ground passes now correctly target the intended receiver.
- Tackling inputs reliably register in locked-to-player modes.
- Resolved rare issues of goalkeepers jumping abnormally high.
- Enhanced goalkeeper decision-making for goal line saves and close-range shot positioning.
- Goalkeepers now attempt saves against long-distance powerful shots.
- Headers are now more accurate as intended.
- Ground passes during free kicks now aim properly.
- Improved lob pass accuracy.
- Enhanced ball physics in contested shots and clearances.
- Skill Move contests now better balance player control.
- Referee logic improved for Rush matches (advantage, penalties) and 11v11 offside scenarios.
