Fatal Fury City of the Wolves update 1.002.002 (v2.2.0) is available to download on PS5, PS4(v2.06) and PC. According to the official Fatal Fury update 1.002.002 patch notes, the latest patch 2.06 introduces Kenshiro, the STIRRING RUINS stage, a new Fist of the North Star crossover episode, seven collaboration music tracks, EWC-themed event content, a new EOST filter, disconnect profile viewing, and fixes for REV Rush, Training Mode backgrounds, conversation unlocks, and KO-related gameplay issues. Apart from this, Fatal Fury City of the Wolves update 2.06 also adds VRR and 120Hz on PS5.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed conversation unlock notifications that failed to appear after certain Arcade Mode completions.
- Corrected the location of a misplaced Mr. Karate landmark comment.
- Fixed unintended REV Rush behavior after cancelable normal attacks when using Jae Hoon.
- Resolved unintended button inputs in the Color Edit pause menu.
- Fixed an issue allowing defeated characters to continue acting under specific conditions.
- Fixed stage backgrounds disappearing during Training Mode after certain Hidden Gear cinematics.
- Fixed hidden stage backgrounds appearing after opening and closing the command list during specific Hidden Gear cinematics.
- Resolved several additional minor issues.
Battle Adjustments
Gato
- Fixed an issue where the first landing frame after Backstep was incorrectly treated as airborne.
Mr. Big
- Fixed an issue where Jumping LP could not be canceled into Cross Shot.
Wolfgang Krauser
- Reduced the occurrence of an issue where Gigantic Cyclone’s hit animation failed to play correctly under certain conditions.
Mr. Karate
- Updated Ryuuga to prevent unintended multiple-hit behavior under certain conditions.
- Ryuuga (REV): Added follow-up restrictions during active frames.
- Ryuuga (All): Reduced launch height when hitting during active frames.
- Kyokugen Ryuuga (REV): Increased launch height on the final hit to maintain combo potential with Hien Genryuu Kyaku (midair REV Blow).
Recently, a major Fatal Fury update 1.001.003 added character adjustments. Terry Bogard’s Cosmic Strike Geyser now consumes Power Gauge correctly. Marco Rodrigues can no longer cancel into Far Heavy Kick.
