February 28, 2023 – Fallout 76 will go offline on all platforms at 9 am ET.
January 24, 2023 – Fallout 76 servers will go down for maintenance at 10 AM ET (15:00 UTC).
January 10, 2023 – Fallout 76 is undergoing routine backend server maintenance at this time. There are no gameplay changes, so no patch notes for this one. Downtime 1hr.
December 6, 2022 – Fallout 76 will be taken offline at 10 AM ET (15:00 UTC) to perform maintenance.

If servers are up and running, follow the steps below to check for any available updates. Be sure to allow any updates to install completely before beginning your game installation.
Checking for updates on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
- Select theSettings menu, now select System Software Update.
- Install any available updates and follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.
Checking for updates on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
- Press the Home button to open the dashboard menu. Now selectSettingsfrom the bottom of the menu, then selectAll Settings.
- SelectSystem, then selectUpdates. Now selectUpdate Console if the option becomes available. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.
