F1 25 Update 1.022 Patch Notes (Patch 1.22) for PS5, PC and Xbox

EA F1 25 update 1.022 (version 1.022.000) is now available for download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official F1 25 update 1.22 patch notes, the latest update adds Thrustmaster SF25 support, brings 2026 vehicle light behavior in line with regulations, fixes a multiplayer AI lobby crash, and improves controller compatibility. Additionally, F1 25 version 1.022 also fixes graphics and lighting issues, and updates R&D visuals alongside UI enhancements

F1 25 Patch 1.022 Notes – June 15, 2026

Wheels & Controllers

• Added support for the Thrustmaster SF25 wheel rim control scheme on compatible wheelbases.
• Fixed the Thrustmaster TM SF1000 wheel red LED staying illuminated after a Red Flag restart.
• Resolved an issue that incorrectly marked detached Lenovo Legion Go 2 controllers as unsupported.
• Fixed a splitscreen issue where controller vibration could stop working if the second player used a keyboard.

Cars

• 2026 vehicles now automatically flash their lights when traveling below 20 km/h in line with regulations.
• Fixed graphical corruption affecting customized cars when using the TAA and FidelityFX Sharpening setting.
• Corrected a minor heat haze visual issue on the 2026 Mercedes.
• Fixed several minor graphical problems across various 2026 custom car liveries.

Tracks

• Aligned the Overtake Mode detection line between the track and track map at Las Vegas and Monza.
• Fixed multiple lighting and shadow issues on various tracks at specific times of day.

Miscellaneous

• Fixed a crash that could occur when changing the car category in multiplayer lobbies with AI enabled.
• Updated several R&D upgrade images in the 2026 Career mode.
• Implemented various UI improvements and stability fixes.

Recently, F1 25 update 1.010 added some minor tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing F1 24 server issues with the game. F1 25 version 1.022 will address a few of these errors.
