F1 25 Update 1.020 Patch Notes (Patch 1.20) | F1 Season 7 Update

EA F1 25 update 1.020 (version 1.020.000) is now available for download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official F1 25 1.20 patch notes, the latest update introduces Season 7 Podium Pass content, adds Frederik Rasmussen as a playable Avatar, expands wheel support across platforms, and brings PSSR2 support to PlayStation 5 Pro. Additionally, F1 25 version 1.020 also also resolves Career mode result errors, Splitscreen visual issues, and milestone progression problems.

Graphics & Upscaling

  • Added PSSR2 support for PlayStation 5 Pro, delivering sharper visuals and improved performance.
  • Updated AMD FSR with stability improvements and better compatibility with Redstone driver overrides.
  • Updated Intel XeSS and XeFG to version 3.

Wheels & Controllers

  • Added Fanatec SDK support on Xbox for LSB/RSB buttons and LED displays on supported wheels.
  • Removed wheel rotation restrictions on Xbox for Fanatec, MOZA, Turtle Beach, Logitech Pro, and RS50 wheels.
  • Added support for the Nacon Revosim RS Pure on PlayStation 5.
  • Added support for the Cammus C12 wheel and LC100 pedals.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause incorrect Brake and Differential values when using player-mapped buttons.

Career

  • Fixed an issue where “Show Sprint Results” displayed incorrect race results in Career modes.
  • Fixed an issue in My Team Career that could assign incorrect tyre allocations after changing drivers from a previous race weekend.

Multiplayer

  • Fixed timing tower alignment issues in Spectator mode during overtakes.
  • Fixed a Splitscreen issue where Player 2 frequently could not see rain droplets on the camera.
  • Improved graphical quality for Player 2 in Splitscreen when using certain anti-aliasing settings.

Customisation

  • Fixed an issue where “Copy from Another Design” was not visible when only one other design existed.
  • Fixed an issue where “Randomise Design” did not always generate a random design.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed an issue preventing progress for the “Achieve Your Expected Position” milestone goal.
  • Fixed an issue where Delta Time could remain visible in some modes after being disabled in settings.
  • Implemented various UI fixes and stability improvements.

Recently, F1 25 update 1.010 added some minor tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing F1 24 server issues with the game. F1 25 version 1.020 will address a few of these errors.
