F1 25 Update 1.016 Patch Notes (Patch 1.16) for PS5, PC & Xbox

EA F1 25 update 1.016 (version 1.016.000) is now available for download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official F1 25 1.016 patch notes, the latest F1 25 patch v1.16 prepares the game for Survival Challenge Part 2, adds new brand-name Casual Wear, expands My Team livery freedom, and introduces VRS hardware support. Additionally, F1 25 version 1.016 also fixes visuals, physics, and track bugs.

F1 25 v1.16 Summary

• Survival Challenge Part 2 preparations implemented for the December 17 update.

Podium Pass Store – Casual Wear Update

• A wide selection of new Casual Wear items added to the store (available December 10).

• Features apparel from Puma’s official F1® collection, Alpinestars, Anti Social Social Club, Kappa, Patta, Period Correct Squadra Corse, and Stance.

My Team Career – Title Sponsor Liveries

• All owned Title Sponsor liveries can now be used freely in My Team Career.

• Previous restrictions linked to sponsor contracts removed.

• Decal Editor adjustments still apply; players may need to reposition decals to avoid overlap with baked-in sponsor graphics.

Gameplay Fixes

• Bahrain Track: Fixed a rare issue causing collisions with an invisible bump at the exit of Turn 4.

Peripherals (Wheels / Controllers)

New Hardware Support

• Support added for VRS R295, Pro, and Lite Formula Steering Wheels.

• Input Mapping must be set to Modern in the DirectForce Pro Config Tool for VRS Pro and Lite wheels.

• Added support for VRS DirectForce Pro Wheel Bases and VRS Pro Pedals.

Miscellaneous

• PC: Fixed an issue where enabling AMD FSR and relaunching the title reset Anti-Aliasing to TAA Only.

• PC: Addressed incorrect rain appearance in exported Highlights videos.

• Improved shadow quality on F2™ 2025 cars.

• Fixed an issue where Kush Maini could appear with the wrong helmet.

• Adjusted F2™ 25 tyre wear to better match real-world degradation.

Recently, F1 25 update 1.010 added some minor tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing F1 24 server issues with the game. F1 25 version 1.016 will address a few of these errors.
