Expeditions Mudrunner Game update 1.09 (1.009) is now rolling out for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Expeditions update 1.09 patch notes, the latest Season 1 “Cave Odyssey” introduces large cave environments, new vehicles, and co-op features like crossplay and shared progress. Apart from this, Expeditions patch 1.009 also includes the Step 33-64 “Crocodile” truck and GPS Tracker tool. New maps and reworked mechanics enhance gameplay.
Previously, a minor update 1.03 added quality of life changes and improvements. Unfortunately, since the last update, players are experiencing several issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Expeditions version 1.009.000 is expected to fix a few of these issues.

Season 1: “Cave Odyssey”
- New Cave Environment: Explore vast, intricate cave systems, uncover hidden gems and mysterious records.
- 14 Expeditions, 12 Contracts, 11 Tasks.

- Step 72-49 “Albatross”: Sturdy six-wheeler for tough terrain.

Co-op Specific Fixes (PC)
- Echo Sounder Overlay: Now visible to all co-op players.
- Repairing Bug Fix: Spare parts are correctly consumed when used.
- Region Screen Arrows: Clickable arrows for easier region selection.
- Minimap Icons: Arrow added to trade UI and player info now visible on Minimap.
