Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game update 1.003 (1.03) is now rolling out for players. According to the official Expeditions update 1.003 patch notes, the latest update brings new features, fixes various crashes, and implemented numerous improvements. Apart from this, Expeditions patch 1.003 also includes stability and performance improvements.
Previously, a minor update was released with bug fixes. Unfortunately, since the last update, players are experiencing several issues when trying to play the game. Expeditions version 1.003 is expected to fix a few of these issues.

New Feature: Photomode
- Crash Fixes:
- Fixed crash reporter.
- Mods: Resolved crash when using default truck mod.
- Fixed crashes related to module interactions and using the Echo Sounder in the Tutorial.
- Fixed crash caused by specifying empty slots for key bindings on the ‘Controls’ page.
- Fixed crash when selling a module.
Art:
- Rectified ground texture issue on the first map of the Arizona region.
- Improved landscape textures on ultra settings.
- Adjusted engine start animation for specific trucks to match new sounds.
UI/UX:
- Enhanced Map centering to alleviate player confusion during deployment.
- Revamped car descriptions for clarity and better layout.
- Added ‘Recommend’ label for novice players.
- Fixed lingering scanned area notification.
- Unblocked movement between addons in the Garage.
- Improved layout of pop-ups for completed quests and new tasks.
- Displayed trucks, vehicle addons, base modules, and specialists properly in reward pop-ups.
Gameplay:
- Tasks and contracts reset upon exiting to HQ to prevent softlocks.
- Increased attempts for Echo Sounder minigame.
- Binocular-discovered objects now displayed on the map.
- Added key to use car’s honk with gamepad.
Miscellaneous Fixes:
- Resolved various sound issues.
- Fixed various tutorial-related issues.
- Removed exploits related to DLC installations.
- Corrected issues with truck frame modules and addon purchases.
- Improved mod support and localization.
