Euro Truck Simulator 2 update 1.47 details are now available for PC (Steam) players. According to the official Euro Truck Simulator 2 patch notes, the latest update features bug fixes, changes and new content. Apart from this, ETS 2 patch 1.47 also includes various bug fixes.
Previously, a major update was with tweaks and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s ets2 update 1.47 will fix a few of these issues.

ETS2 Update 1.47 Patch Notes Details – April 13, 2023
Germany Rework:
- A small dedicated map team has reworked the cities of Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Nurnberg, and Erfurt from the ground up, including landmarks, road networks, industries, and more as part of the Revisiting Germany project.
- Each city has its own dedicated blog with information unique to its project and the changes that can be expected to be seen in these areas.
- The reworked cities are part of the free 1.47 update and more news will be brought in the future regarding the rework project.
Ownable Gas Cisterns:
- Players can now haul their own Gas Cisterns in Euro Truck Simulator 2, designed to transport dangerous and highly flammable gases such as Ethane, Propane, and LPG.
- The cisterns are available in a variety of lengths, chassis, and customization options, and accessories included are paintable/chrome boxes, valve boxes with additional toolboxes, side guards, etc., fire extinguishers, hoses, trailer paint jobs, and more.
- Players are encouraged to share their customized trailers on social media channels.
Ownable Livestock Trailers:
- Purchasable livestock trailers have been added, allowing players to transport cattle and pigs in their own trailers with different body and chassis customizations.
- Additional customization options include left/right/front/rear body, markers, side protection plates/boxes, rear fenders, rear bumpers, and rear mudflaps.
Adaptive Cruise Control & Emergency Braking System:
- Adaptive Cruise Control automatically adjusts the distance and speed from the vehicle in front when in cruise control mode, with the Emergency Braking System activating the brakes whenever a collision is imminent with the vehicle in front to avoid or minimize damage.
- These features have been fine-tuned based on player feedback and will continue to be improved in the future.
Uneven Surface Simulation:
- Uneven Surface Simulation has been introduced, generating small bumps to give roads and other terrains an imperfect feel, which can be felt and heard while driving.
Custom City Intros – Road to the Black Sea DLC:
- Custom city intros have been expanded to the Road to the Black Sea DLC, with special cutscenes appearing when a player selects a starting city when creating a new profile.
Career History UI Redesign:
- The Career History UI has been refreshed, displaying a graph of experience progress and some statistics, with a more detailed look into statistics and previous deliveries, exploration, driver experience, and penalties.
