[Elder Scrolls Online] ESO update 2.86 is available to download on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official ESO 2.86 patch notes, the latest update rebalanced the Shattered Path Signet Mythic item, fixed several Werewolf gameplay issues, restored multiple quests and NPCs, corrected Path to Adventure rewards, and resolved Vengeance equipment restrictions. ESO update 2.86 also addressed achievement, challenge, UI, and Windows 10 launch problems.

Psijic Order
- Concentrated Barrier now correctly counts as a proc and no longer triggers unintended effects.
World
Werewolf
- Slot passives no longer remain active in Werewolf form after a respec when the ability is on an inactive bar.
- Fixed missing audio for Werewolf’s Claw Fury damage impacts.
- Fixed NPC death animations when defeated by Werewolf’s Slaughter.
- Werewolf tattoo effects now smoothly fade in and out when Rampage becomes available and after it ends.
Item Sets
Mythic Items
- Shattered Path Signet status effect damage bonus now applies only to monsters.
- Reduced the maximum damage bonus from 170% to 133%.
- Reduced the Ultimate required to reach the maximum bonus from 170 to 133.
- Reduced the Status Effect application cooldown at maximum Ultimate from 4 seconds to 2 seconds.

Vengeance
General
- Players in Vengeance can no longer equip the Vengeance Yew Shield or Ebon Axe, Mace, and Sword.
- Players entering Vengeance no longer receive those items.
Battle Medic
- Fixed Battle Shield affecting more targets than intended.
- Fixed Splinters of Chaos affecting more targets than intended.
Collectibles
General
- Updated Chosen of Anu and Chosen of Padomay armor collectible descriptions to explain the five-piece outfit visual effect.
- Updated the Chevalier’s Honor Body Tattoo icon.
Achievements
- Fixed the “Give No Quarter” achievement so progress is tracked correctly.

- The Valenwood Skull Blocks furnishing now plays interaction audio correctly.

- Fixed a launch crash affecting some PCs running older versions of Windows 10.
- Path to Adventure now grants the correct number of Seals.
- Path to Adventure now awards all eligible rewards.
Quests
- Quen once again offers the original Thieves Guild questline in all Outlaws Refuges.
- Fa’ren-dar has returned to the Hew’s Bane guild hideout.
- Cursed Treasure Quest: The Green Aegis is available again.
- White Mask of Merien: The Salve Cabinet can now be opened.
- Gone Missing: A’tor’s Oasis is accessible again.
Challenges
- Fixed the Weekly Challenge for defeating Bogdan the Nightflame or Lord Warden Dusk so it completes consistently.
- Clarified that the “Complete Incursions” Weekly Challenge also counts World Events.
UI
- Fixed a Steam issue where the “Transaction Cancelled” message could remain after a successful purchase.
- Fixed a UI error that could occur when new Challenges were added.
- Gamepad UI now correctly displays reward preview variations in full-screen preview.
- The Path to Adventure announcement panel on Gamepad UI now opens the Golden Pursuits menu.
- Added gameplay performance improvements.
- Added general stability fixes.
- Added online stability and server improvements.
- Other minor tweaks.
Previously, a major ESO update 50 added Challenge Difficulty, PvP Veterancy, Vengeance Campaigns, Class Mastery, a major Werewolf overhaul, new Thieves Guild and Sheogorath questlines, Dynamic Encounters, Guild Mail, and extensive quality-of-life improvements. Unfortunately, players are reporting several problems with the game. Today’s ESO version 2.86 will solve a few of these problems.
