ESO Update 2.84 Patch Notes (ESO Console Update 1.019.002)

[Elder Scrolls Online] ESO update 2.84 is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox One. According to the official ESO 1.019.002 patch notes, the latest update brings quality of life changes and tweaks. ESO update 2.84 also fixes core gameplay systems.

Season Zero Challenges

• Weekly Challenges
  • Completing the “Defeat the Symphony of Blades, the Lava Queen, or Molag Kena” Weekly Challenge now receives the appropriate credit.
  • Completing the “Capture an Imperial City District” Weekly Challenge now receives the appropriate credit.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the “Defeat the Serpent of Sanctum Ophidia” Seasonal Challenge from receiving appropriate credit.
• Seasonal Challenges
  • Fixed an issue where the subzones or child zones of Hew’s Bane, Gold Coast, and Wrothgar were not counting towards the “Kill 1000 Foes in Hew’s Bane, Gold Coast, Wrothgar” Seasonal Challenge. For example, killing monsters in Maelstrom Arena, public dungeons, and delves were not counting towards killing enemies in the Wrothgar zone.

User Experience

• Fixed an issue that allowed you to interact with Tome rewards underneath a list of Tome rewards while trying to view that list, such as a list of Furnishings.
• Fixed an issue where a Steam player trying to upgrade their Tome could fail without notification if the Steam overlay is disabled.
• Made code improvements to the Steam purchase experience when you upgrade your Tome.
• Made code improvements to the purchase experience when you upgrade your Tome from the storefront of your choice.

• Classes
  • Dragonknight
    • Ardent Flame
      • Searing Strike: This ability and its morphs will no longer appear locked in cases where they were previously unlocked.

• General
  • Vanos Dungeon Delve Outfit Style
    • The weapons from this outfit style no longer play unintentionally sound effects.

• General
  • Temporarily reversed the change to campaign leaderboards making them account-based.

• Warrior Wave Senche-Cheetah Mount: The image to represent this mount on the gamepad version of the Crown Store was replaced to show the correct mount and now accurately reflects the Warrior Wave Senche-Cheetah.
• Warrior Wave Platform, Yathian Turquoise Furnishing: The color of the furnishing was corrected from black to the intended turquoise when previewing and placing in your home.

• Gamepad UI
  • Tips for dodge rolling are more accurate while using the Gamepad UI with a mouse and keyboard.
  • [PlayStation] The Change Profile button no longer appear improperly on the login screen.

Bug Fixes

• Addressed general stability fixes.
• Added gameplay performance improvements.
• Addressed game crashing issues.
• Other minor tweaks.

Previously, a major ESO update 40 added new features, various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players are reporting several problems with the game. Today’s ESO version 2.84 will solve a few of these problems.
