[Elder Scrolls Online] ESO update 2.82 (Console Update 49) is available to download on PS4, PS5, and Xbox One. According to the official ESO 2.82 patch notes, the latest Elder Scrolls Online’s update 49 launches Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk on April 2, introducing the challenging Night Market event zone where players choose among three factions vying for control. ESO update 2.82 also includes major overhauls where the Tamriel Tome battle pass system replacing Endeavors, free skill respecs, account-wide outfit slots, and extensive Dragonknight combat refinements.

Night Market – Launching April 29

The Night Market arrives during Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk as a dynamic trade hub where Daedric and worldly goods exchange hands. Following the disappearance of its former leader, three rival patrons now compete for control, with districts overrun by malevolent forces. Mortals are now invited to enter this formerly restricted area of Fargrave and choose a faction to support.

New Event Zone

  • Event Zone – A brand-new zone type featuring increased difficulty compared to standard areas

    • Team up with friends or other adventurers to overcome these enhanced challenges

    • Pledge allegiance to patrons and complete activities to earn favor for your chosen faction

The Three Factions

Glittering Goad (Patron: Tachien)

  • Meritocracy controlling auctions and market stands

  • Known for amassed wealth and prestigious auctions

  • Belief that anyone can succeed—provided they pay for the privilege

The Ruckus (Patron: Kharakhal Moon-Eye)

  • Seeks control through strength and offers “protection” to businesses

  • Demands cuts from all sold goods

  • District currently overrun with darkness and grief

Thousand Eyes (Patron: Molto the Whisperer)

  • Ancient faction comprising the small and overlooked

  • Gathers power through information and knowledge

  • Countless members working together to blunt other factions’ strength

  • The Parch – Arid landscape swept by dry winds, rattling bones across the terrain

Previously, a major ESO update 40 added new features, various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players are reporting several problems with the game. Today’s ESO version 2.82 will solve a few of these problems.
