ESO Update 2.77 Patch Notes (ESO Console Update 47.1)

[Elder Scrolls Online] ESO update 2.77 (Console Update 47.1) is available to download on PS4, PS5, and Xbox One. According to the official ESO 2.77 patch notes, the latest update delivers dungeon fixes, resolves localization issues, and improves Sunport City performance. Crafting writ rewards and achievements now work correctly, while HDR visuals, audio, and UI stability see important adjustments. ESO update 2.77 also includes gameplay performance improvements.

• Black Gem Foundry

  • “Show on Map” for pledge quest now correctly points to Black Gem Foundry.

  • Champion achievement no longer requires veteran difficulty exclusively.

  • Slippery Soul Gem memento now displays its icon.

  • High Soulbinder Vykand

    • Dalenor now consistently faces the center of the room after Vykand’s defeat.

    • Divergence and Acute Enervation abilities no longer overlap on normal/veteran modes.

    • Unstable Refracted Souls spawn rate corrected.

• Naj-Caldeesh

  • “Show on Map” for pledge quest now correctly points to Naj-Caldeesh.

  • Floating bowls in Ritual Quarters corrected.

  • Champion achievement no longer locked to veteran difficulty.

  • “Fight Through Pain” achievement now veteran-only, as intended.

  • Talen-Lah and Bar-Sakka: Bar-Sakka no longer rolls endlessly without engaging.

• Oathsworn Pit

  • Lava hazards now only damage players and companions.

  • “Enduring Retribution” and “Lighting the Embers” achievements fail properly when players die to hazards.

  • Clothing, Leather, and Woodworking writs now reward the correct unidentified survey report instead of unidentified master writs.

  • “Snow Bear” skill style no longer reverses Feral Guardian morph appearances.

• Audio

  • Drake’s Rush set audio volume reduced.

  • Time’s Herald set audio temporarily removed for bug fix.

  • HDR colors reverted to pre-Update 47 levels; recalibration may be needed.

  • Fixed crash related to Multithreaded Rendering.

  • Localized text issues resolved — selected languages now display properly instead of English or placeholder text.

Previously, a major ESO update 40 added new features, various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players are reporting several problems with the game. Today’s ESO version 2.77 will solve a few of these problems.
