ESO Update 2.63 Patch Notes (Elder Scrolls Online)

[Elder Scrolls Online] ESO update 2.63 is available to download on PS4, PS5(version 1.013.001), and Xbox One. According to the official ESO 2.63 patch notes, the latest update addresses various combat, UI, and quest issues. Apart from this, ESO update 2.63 also fixes abilities like Summon Shade and Frozen Gate.

Combat & Gameplay

Nightblade – Shadow

• Summon Shade (Shadow Image): This ability can no longer be activated in areas where movement abilities are restricted (e.g., Imperial City spawn areas). Activation drains resources but won’t spawn the shade.

Warden – Winter’s Embrace

• Frozen Gate:
  • Range: Reduced to 22 meters (from 28 meters).
  • Teleport Fix: Addressed an issue where enemies could be pulled through walls or excessive distances.
  • Fixed to prevent use in movement-restricted areas.

Itemization & Item Sets

Class Sets

• Nobility in Decay: Fixed an issue where the “consume a corpse” condition wouldn’t trigger when treating yourself as a corpse.

Monsters & NPCs

• Ithelia: Adjustments to facial animations when speaking and added light reflections to her eyes.

Dungeons & Group Content

• Silorn Public Dungeon: Performance and FPS improvements implemented in specific areas.

Alliance War & PvP

• General: Fixed infinite load screen issue when loading into Battlegrounds.

Art & Animation

• General: Fixed a crafting issue where icons were missing when crafting in the Hircine Bloodhunter Crafting Style.

Crown Store & Crown Crates

• Motifs: Added missing image to product tiles for West Weald Legion Bundle and Lucent Sentinel Style.

Infinite Archive

• Tooltip Update: Mystery Transformation Verse now specifies that it can only be used once per Archive attempt.
• Visions Fix: Resolved issues with Storm Projection and Adaptive Conqueror visions after returning from a Portal to the Unknown.

Events & Celebrations

• Witches Festival: Fixed missing fixtures in Gatzug’s nightmare for the Lord of Fear event.

Exploration & Itemization

• Achievements: Quartermasters in Cyrodiil now properly progress the “Guild Store Shopper” achievement.

Housing

• Fixed a gamepad issue where the “Report” action was unbound in Home Tours.
• Fixed lighting issues with the “Colovian Chandelier, Metal.”

Quests & Zones

• Fixed NPCs wearing incorrect gear in various zones.
• Glenumbra: Corrected completion icon issue at Red Rook Camp.
• The Rift: Fixed a misplaced Shardborn Warpriest.

UI

• Fixed UI error when switching tabs in gamepad inventory.
• Resolved navigation issues in the gamepad UI when attempting skill respec in the scribing section.

Previously, a major ESO update 40 added new features, various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players are reporting several problems with the game. Today’s ESO version 2.63 will solve a few of these problems.
