ESO Update 2.34 Patch Notes for PS4 & Xbox – July 20, 2022

[Elder Scrolls Online] ESO update 2.34 is now available to download on PS4, PS5 (1.006.000), and Xbox One. According to the official ESO patch notes, the latest update added several fixes and improvements involving Tales of TributeApart from this, ESO version 2.34 also includes fixes for several quests, achievements, a couple game crashes, and more.

Previously, a major Chapter: High Isle update 34 added Systres Archipelago, far to the southwest of continental Tamriel, and delve into the culture and secrets of the noble and chivalric Breton people. High Isle added several new item sets and Mythic Items, new Antiquities, a number of new collectibles, tons of new achievements, and more.

Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are facing several problems when trying to play the game online. Today’s ESO patch 2.34 will solve a few of these problems. Check out more details below.

ESO 2.34 Patch Notes – July 20, 2022

High Isle Fixes

Dreadsail Reef Trial

• Defeating Tideborn Taleria on Veteran Mode will now guarantee a drop for Gold-quality Jewelry, in addition to other Perfected purples.

Achievements

• Fixed an issue where the Firepot Explorer achievement would occasionally not be granted after defeating the boss in the Firepot delve.

Quest

• The Shrine of Mara and the respec shrines in Gonfalon Bay are now present and functional.
• You can now share the completion of all quest steps in all World Boss-related dailies.
• The Tournament Begins: Fixed an issue where you were blocked from turning in this quest.
• Tournament of the Heart: Aurelia now appears at the end of this quest so she can say her lines.

Tales of Tribute

• The Tales of Tribute Master achievement now requires all component Achievements to be completed – including Tales of Travel.
  • Note: If you had already completed this achievement without Tales of Travel, you will not need to redo the achievement.
• Tales of Tribute clues now note that you need to hang onto the clues until you acquire the upgrade.
• Clues now require a confirmation to delete them.
• Increased the quality of clues from superior to epic.
• Fixed an issue where Tales of Tribute experience would sometimes not apply until you logged out and back in.
• Fixed an issue where invalid Activity Finder errors could prevent matches from starting.

Quests

• Increased the amount of Tales of Tribute Club Rank experience gained from completing daily quests to grant 25, 50 and 75 experience based on wins.

Rewards

• Fixed an issue where Tales of Tribute PvP rank placement rewards were not granted until the next rank was achieved.

UI

• Fixed an issue that caused several Tales of Tribute pop-ups to show up repeatedly.

Fixed a text issue with the card, Hira’s End, where it refreshes 3 cards but the text referenced 4 cards. It now correctly displays that it refreshes 3 cards, as intended.

• The correct name and icon are now displayed in the end of game summary from Tales of Tribute daily Activity Finder rewards.
• Slayer Deck Fragment now refers to “World Bosses” instead of “Group Bosses.”
• Updated endgame text to make clear that you can meet or exceed your opponent’s prestige, not merely exceed.

Visuals

• Fixed an issue that caused patron/card glows to disappear upon resolving a card choice selection.

Base Game Bug Fixes

• ESO PS4 update 2.34 fixed an audio issue affecting the Lady Thorn Weapon Pack.
• Fixed a rare crash that could occur when connecting to the server under certain network conditions.
• Fixed a crash that could occur when closing the game client while having a text edit box selected.

Quest

Alik’r Desert

• Lost City of the Na-Totambu: Fixed an issue where Paldeen would get stuck when you moved to check out the tablet.

Craglorn

• The Warrior’s Call: Titus Valerius will now continue to follow your character normally while inside the Ruined Library.

Grahtwood

• Bosmer Insight: Fixed an issue where the Spriggan Spirit could end up with a non-functional talk prompt.

Stonefalls

• Delaying the Daggers: Fixed an issue where you could spawn a lot of Garyn Indorils.

UI

• ESO patch 2.34 fixed an issue which prevented the E keybind from being recognized on the Gamma Adjust screen.
• Fixed an issue where leaderboards would sometimes not display.

• Moved the following functions and event to PublicAllIngames so add-on authors can access them.
