Apart from this, Elite Dangerous patch 18.04 also includes several bug fixes and adjustments.

- The Python Mk II is accessible for Odyssey owners on PC from August 7 or via early access purchase from the ARX store.
- Early access options include the Standard version for building upon and the Stellar Pre-Built pack, featuring an A-rated combat build.
- The Stellar edition includes the Python Mk II ship, High-Spec A-rated combat build, Venom Claret Paint Job, Strike Ship Kit, and Python Mk II Shipyard Unlock.
- The Standard edition includes the Python Mk II Ship and Python Mk II Shipyard Unlock.
- Purchasing a Python Mk II grants access to the model at any appropriate vendor for credits.
- The update also introduces new Pre-Built Ships for various activities such as mining and exploration, which can be further upgraded with new components and modules.
- Pre-Built Ships include the Laser Mining Jumpstart Type-6, Exploration Jumpstart Diamondback Explorer, and AX Combat Jumpstart Alliance Chieftain.
- These ships can be deployed at any shipyard and offer free rebuy if destroyed, excluding upgrades.
