Elite Dangerous update 1.42 is now rolling out for PS4 and Xbox One players. According to the official Elite Dangerous 1.42 patch notes, the latest brings some minor gameplay changes and bug fixes. Apart from this, the Elite Dangerous version 1.42 also includes stability and performance improvements.
Previously, a major September update was released with a new starter experience, new Livery System, new virtual currency: ARX and much more. Exploration
- Fixed a stuttering issue caused by requesting data for all planets on arrival in a system.
- Numbers are no longer being cut off from signal source names in the Navigation Panel.
Crashes & Stability
- Fixed a crash which could occur when an Imperial Fighter is destroyed in CQC.
Thargoids
- Fixed an issue that meant Thargoid Combat Bonds were not always being awarded.
Conflict Zones
- Fixed an issue which could cause the Conflict Zone victory tracker to disappear.
